Repeated Frustration And Elation

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Sat, 05/04/2025 - 18:22

Good weather, good lineup, good second half but not a full bucket of points to go home with.

The now usual lineup time of 13:45 announced the dropping of Mavropanos and Evan Ferguson, two players who deservedly had to be dropped after the performance against Wolves but ultimately one way or another it appears we’re bound to make a mistake somewhere.

Alphonse Are’oh’la had an absolute blunder, the ball made it to the byline, played in and initially saved but the ball slipped out of his hands and was the easiest goal Evanilson will have in his career.

The Kraut came on swiftly after the second half started and Fuller was the game-changer. Chances started flying through with the introduction of him and Soler, a quick corner from JWP saw the Kraut equalise and Bowen not too long later matched Kudus’ cross. But as said before, even with the weather shining for West Ham there’s always a cloud.

Evanilson slotted an easy second for the Cherries, no one marking him at the back post and as simple as that it’s 2-2. Both goals of his were checked for offside but VAR deemed them onside.

The midfield is our biggest problem and you can see why, what Jules and Steidten came up with has Graham looking to his bench
and his best option for change is Guido Rodriguez! It’s embarrassing.

The second half was the best half we’ve had in a long while, not as good as GP claims he aspires for but it’s better than a 1-0 loss and a ‘lie-down’ performance which is what we’ve been seeing.

7 games to go and the fight for 13th goes on!

We all know it...JWP Soucek Alvarez all to slow Pacman unless he is up for it may as well not be there and if we are to get anywhere the first three must be shown the door when seasons over......Pacman will walk to Citeh now the FA's case has crumbled and they are offering a deal..Fuck off would be my answer if i was Pacman.
Kudus does not want to be here Fulkrug looks ok but he wants to go home Ings finally his contract is up both GK's need replacing Emerson wants to go back to Italy so it will be a very busy summer indeed and the team/squad will look very different next season indeed...better? who knows its West Ham after all.

Whilst it may seem to some that Potter does not know if he wants a shit, shave, or haircut. I think in his mind he is getting there. What he needs is a window and I'm not talking about his office at Goose Green.

If Fulkrug wants to give it a go here and prove a lot of people wrong. He is doing well at present. I think he's a unit and a handful for defenders.

If Potter stays and gets a window to do his shit with. I'm positive!!!

Up yer arse, up yer arse, stick yer blue flag up yer arse!!

Personally potter has put his job security by taking over west ham,the team has recessed with age and speed if we had any in the first place.Since the last 18 months under moyes that is where the rot started to set in,lopi made it even worse sullivan has to be blamed for this appointment.so he should at least give potter funds to bring in his own players and sell off the dead wood their will be money available with sales and players wages going it's a long list but it needs doing this summer and no sentiment either.Fabranski,Aerola,Coufal,Emerson,Mavropranos,Aguerd,Cornet,Soucek,Soler,Rodiquez,Antonio,Ings,Kudus,Paqueta?,Cresswell,Irving,Guilherme,Fullkreg,Alverez,Ward Prowse a long list but should get enough to rebuild with more young energetic players that want to play.
