Hot on the heels of Hammers 'devastating' purchase of Nice's France international defender Jean-Clair Todibo, 'Supersteidten' has given the private jet a rest in order to conclude a deal that didn't require filling up the Cesna.

Instead all 'Super Tim' had to do was borrow Sully's Limo in order to whizz up to Manchesterland to finalise the 'sagaesque' on off signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Premier League rivals Manchester United.

Despite trying to play 'hard ball' over the negotiations, Jim Ratcliffe et Toutes had to finally acquiesce to the players' pay off deal, one that necessitated the vendors dropping their valuation to approximately HALF his market value in order to push through the deal the Mancs had in the pipeline for Noussair Mazraoui.

Oh what Joy to be able to 'out trump' the Red Devils, a certain Mr D Sullivan will be jumping for joy as his decision to bring Tim Steidten to the club as it's 1st 'proper' director of football has now been fully vindicated.

These are indeed 'nose bleed times' for Hammers fans who have had to enviously watch on as other teams seemed to be able to pull off 'wonder deals' while the Irons inevitably came up with blanks!

This IS the start of something really special that could really propel West Ham into the upper echelons of the Premier League. It is unlikely that the club will have such a good transfer window in the future because other clubs will be wary of the 'Steidten Effect' and look to cover their arses ahead of negotiations! - Ed
