The Manchester United game

It seems likely we will be short in experienced defenders for this game. What should be our tactics? Is there any point following Sam's instincts and trying to stifle ManU's potent attacking force? I say NO! Their weaknesses are all at the back, keeper aside they have looked, quite frankly, rubbish in defence. Let us not allow them to dictate the way this game is played, let's set up as offensively as possible, without being rash (something Sam Allardyce has never been accused of). ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! COYI!

So according to our esteemed leader in his Evening Standard column today, our new sponsor is "Betway". One of those well known, established companies that have no chance of going under. So thats alright then....

FIFA to end West Ham Cup Run

In the interests of resolving the issue before we're due to play WBA, FIFA have fasttracked their investigation into the possible ineligibility of Sakho playing vs Bristol City.

Clearly this has shades of the Manny Omnoyimni debacle and you just know that we're gonna get shafted as we're West Ham.
Taking off the C&B shades what does everyone think. Should he have played or not and if not do you believe it right we're kicked out of the cup?

How bad is this?

It's just turned 2300 and the transfer window has slammed firmly shut. As it stands Carlton Cole is on the verge of joining WBA. Mauro Zarate is out on loan with QPR. Diarra Sakho is currently unable to play due to complications with FIFA. That leaves us with just Enner Valencia and a possibly injured again Andy Carroll. Then we look at our back line. Tompkins and Ginge injured. Only Reid who is fit out of our centre halves. How could this shambles be allowed to take place. Was the board trying to be cute and move the goal posts on deals? Are the wheels about to come of our season. It was obvious what was required before January. Now. I feel, we will be on a slippery slope and no Europa League qualification through league or FA Cup success. Roll on Man Utd.

Rumours are rife that Hammers are pushing for at least three recruitments ahead of the transfer window closing tonight. This sudden need for players is as a result of a catastrophic defensive injury list, the recent injuries to James Collins, James Tomkins and Carl Jenkinson. We will have any real news as soon as! Bloody hell, Carlton to the Baggies! Of course he would be ineligible to play for West Brom against West Ham in the FA Cup. This is not just Sky Sports , Associated Press have confirmed! -Ed
