I just thought everyone should know that James Gooding, madhammer aka jamesg101, has brilliantly helped to start bringing the site back to life with a lot of bells and whistles! His help has been indispensable, especially bearing in mind recent events that have made it difficult for me to devote as much time to the site as I would have liked.
A massive thanks to James from all the Org -Ed
WestHamFans.org has rolled out a new points and badges system as a bit of fun to incentivise our loyal users. If your interested in finding out how the points and badges work, feel free to read more below.
The points system works by adding a point for each comment you make, and removing a point if you delete a comment. A point will also be awarded for each comment made by other users, on a post or topic that you have created. Additionally you can get points by completing Goals.
If your feeling combative a points tally will be displayed on site, with the top user at the end of the season being declared Orger of the year. (Admin users are not eligible for the event but will still appear on the chart.)
Badges are won by completing on site goals. Your badges are displayed on the left hand side of the site, below is a table of badges and how to achieve them.

Looks like he could be back next season. West ham are trying to get him off the books no club wants him at the moment. West ham have tried to come to a settlement but he wants to be paid in full , he is on 40k a week and has still over a year to go . I wish I had turned pro instead of taken up my true love a decorator :((
Great news this morning, as West Ham finally confirm that Winston Reid has joined James Tomkins and Mark Noble in signing long term contracts with the Club. After months of speculation and links of a move away to Tottenham and Arsenal, it is outstanding news that Winston has been secured on a new six-and-a-half year contract. Again confirming the Chairman's long term vision and European aspirations for the Team.

Reid was quoted as saying on the Official Site " “It’s one of those things that took a bit of time, but we got there in the end and I’m very happy to be here for the next part of my career. I’m looking forward to it. At the end of the day, for myself I feel comfortable here. I was speaking with the Joint-Chairman David Sullivan and everybody and felt like I was valued here. He was clearly very committed to getting the deal done and keeping me at the Club, so I’d like to thank him for that and I’m delighted to sign for the next six years. My family are happy living here too. We’ve been part of the Club living in London, so we weighed all the factors up and I’m delighted to be staying here."

Carlton Cole has been fined by the FA for an offensive tweet. Not a great deal in this really, and the tweet is neither racist or that offensive IMO, but Carlton should know better than to be goaded by a bloody spurs fan! Full story http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31719618
