Moyes. Opinions? An Evertonian (friend of a friend and didn't see any hub caps missing outside) reckons he has heard this from a reliable source, and when I looked up at the ceiling of the pub he was very quick to remind me that his stint at managing Manure should be forgotten. His record at Everton should be taken seriously and he will probably be given more money to spend at West Ham than when he was at Everton, I was reminded. I get the Manure comment as replacing Fergie is virtually impossible so what do you think? Possible? Would it take us forward or would we remain static?
Now he's hatdky been bang in form of late and many fans have lambasted his current inclusion in the team but I felt he'd have helped us out today. Nolan would have added the organisation to the team as there was none to be had today. Especially at set pieces!!! He also would have added a bit of bite to the midfield too that merely let Puncheon, Bolasie and McAthur run riot.
How is everyone?
On the whole I think this season has been ok, we've played some decent stuff when Andy Carroll has been injured, unfortunately when he plays we go direct again, much prefer the pace and skill of a Valencia and Sakho combination, I think it gives us more options.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) I didn't see the game today, we still have results like these that make no sense at all, brilliant against Man U and Spurs and then we lose very winnable games, anyway onwards and upwards.....hopefully
Have you ever seen a more blatant attempt to injure another player when he tried to elbow sakho off the ball.Dirty b*stard!i hope he gets a lenghthy ban...
just dont believe whats happening , looking at that team today you'd have said not a lot wrong with that , same team that gave us all high expectations before Christmas , i cant begin to fathom out whats gone wrong , we had a striking partnership that was developing into one of the best in the prem , Song was seen as the best addition in a long time , the two full backs couldn't put a foot wrong , im sick of saying it why the f**k was Zarati let leave ? , i can see no other option now other than limp along till the end of the season and then get rid of Sam , maybe the life of a manger should only be two or three years at any club , with the exception of Fergie who else can say they've been a success, they players get lethargic and start to loose interest , new man at the top is the only answer
West Ham United: Adrian, Jenkinson, Reid, Tomkins, Cresswell, Song, Noble (c), Kouyate, Downing, Sakho, Valencia
Subs: Jaaskelainen, Nolan, Jarvis, Nene, O'Brien, Collins, Demel
Crystal Palace: Speroni, Ward, Dann, Bolasie, Zaha, Jedinak (c), Murray, Mutch, Delaney, Kelly, Puncheon
Subs: Hennessey, Hangeland, Gayle, McArthur, Ameobi, Ledley, Souare
Bookies have us to beat Palace 2-1 . Lawro has us to win 2-0. It is all over then. 3 points and smiling folks (I hope).
Unrelated to our great club but just thought I'd share my delight at seeing both the Spuds and the pooh exiting from the Europa league overnight. My no.1 and 2 despised clubs and hoping their seasons completely unravel from here. Congratultions Fiorentina and Besiktas!!
It's worth 14.5 mill over the 5 years and takes him to 33 years of age. Pity we can not tie down Reid as I think we are really going to miss him if he go's .
