So two games into the season and VAR has proven once again it doesn't work. So only 36 games and 9 months of sh1t to go through!!
Putting aside the hair pull at the Bridge when in reality hair like that should be outlawed, and the Chelski planks calling for Anthony Taylor to be shipped off to Russia, Robert Jones proved he's a complete moron. Doesn't give a foul despite having a great view, the VAR at Stockley Park (is this on the moon), suggests he reconsider's. Now I'm all for taking a closer look but how bloody obvious is it that the foul should have been on Antonio for obstruction and not resulted in a goal being ruled out because the defender thought it was WWE and didn't realise that getting mown down by Antonio must be like being shoulder charged by The Rock!! I'm over it already. Wake me up in May so I can enjoy a the summer transfer window again!

I do not believe despite what we are told that the refs actually are in charge of the game...Take for instance our disallowed goal the ref saw it he thought nope thats not a foul the game went on and we scored then VAR get involved and said think you should take another look at that....Now supposedly the ref can say no need i am happy with my onfield decision and the game carries on...but its like they have there arm twisted and told no go to the monitor as soon as that happens they never disagree with VAR......so you just have for all intense and purposes an automoton who blows the whistle for kick off and half time and full time and thats it.....and why not eh lovely life where you get paid a nice wedge compared to the man or woman or non binary or lgbt(think thats covered the basis)on the street and yo do not have to explain yourselves afterwards and if you complain you get a fine and a ban.

Sky for all that they have done with money in the game should of insisted that the refs have to come out and explain there big decisions after the game but naaaa thats never happening.

I agree it was obstruction by their player, but Ants raising his arms & pushing him imo swayed the weak refs decision forests way, admittedly Ants was getting snidey fouls on him all game but if he hadn't reacted the goal would have stood! Btw their bloke who handled should have got a red & you could see the relief on his boat!!The ref was scared of the forest fans,it was pathetic to watch

Agree mate, that’s what I thought too.
To be honest the more I watch Antonio the more he frustrates the fk out of me, instead of playing to the whistle he stops and moans, he goes down too easy for the size of him too. I really don’t know why Antonio ran straight towards the defender to start with, I know the defender moved a little bit but he would’ve ran into him anyway, but the reaction afterwards from Antonio was what was stopped the goal being allowed.
Spot on regarding the penalty, he should’ve been sent off, he knew what he was doing there, if Forest ever have as much luck as yesterday in another game I’ll be amazed!

I know we are all frustrated at moyes keeping faith with his faves, but in the cold light of day
I'll never know how we didn't get at least a point! Luck was well & truly on their side

For sure. It's got to be rare as rocking horse shit to hit the bar twice and the ball bounce down on the line both times!!! Soucek's follow up on the first was piss poor though

It seems this Var causes more problems than it was meant to fix.Human error was as much part of the game as the match itself and feeling agrieved at decisions made by the officials was all part of football but micromanaging every call the officials make even if correct to me it detracts from the whole experience of being a supporter.

and when you think about it the idea of VAR is sound unfortunately when human beings get involved thats where it goes pear shaped

they should also bring back the old offside rule you know the so called first phase, its obvious that allowing play to continue some one is going to get injured all for nothing .as mcbike says Rant over
