By now most season ticket holders should have received their replacement entry cards to the London Stadium, the need for the replacements is because the entry points were becoming choked by too many fans using the incorrect entrance for where their seats were, thus causing a lot of unnecessary congestion on the walkways. Why this 'glitch' wasn't anticipated is up for debate, but at least it should be sorted now, so happy days unless your new entry card hasn't arrived!

Ahead of the West Ham United versus Watford FC Barclays Premier League fixture at The London Stadium there are genuine concerns about the level and standard of stewardship on match days, it is indeed fortunate that none of the first three fixtures were against teams that have fans who aren't generally 'in your face', this will of course change when certain other clubs visit. It could be argued that there will be so few opposition fans pro rata that there shouldn't really be an issue, but the problem is it only takes a few to effect many.

The troubled enigma that is Diafra Sakho has an agent named Mark Mc Kay, son of the legendary (at least to the tax authorities) football agent Willie Mc Kay, Mc Kay Jnr also represents Dimitri Payet. West Ham fans will recall Jacques Olivier Auguste (Dimi's french agent) spitting his dummy out when Dimitri had the temerity to actually say something about how happy and content he was at West Ham United, without the permission of his agent! Heaven forbid trusting a player to do the 'right' thing heh?, well Mark Mc Kay has no such worries with 'the Sakman'.

Roll up roll up, the Sky sports wall to wall coverage of the 'final countdown' begins. Very few media events receive as much attention in the great scheme of things, but the remaining hours make for compelling viewing even if not initially wanted or desired. Last summer West Ham United did immensely well, and will be hard pushed to get the incredible bargains they managed, this year with the Barclays Premier League awash with the new TV money deals similar to last year will be almost impossible to find.
