Ex - Hammers manager Sam Allardyce, now holding the reigns at Sunderland, has earmarked James Collins as a main signing when the January transfer window opens. Collins' contract expires at the end of the season , and as such West Ham might possibly recoup £2.5 Million at the absolute max in exchange for his services and think that it might be a good bit of business, in the short term!
Manuel Lanzini’s parent club Al Jazira have recruited former West Ham technical director Gianluca Nani as their new sports director, which could be a can of worms! There is plenty of bad blood between Nani and co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan, Nani was dismissed from his highly paid role at the club in a cloud of secrecy. Almost all of the deals that Nani oversaw were reversed as soon as possible when the two Davids took over, one or two of the deals were extremely suspicious to say the least!
