First forum topic, are you a happy hammer at this moment?

Happy we're in the Cup still, albeit it by the skin of out teeth. Happy we're riding high in the league, but unhappy the fat controller has fiddled with a winning formula and gone back to his old ways.
Fair play to KN for the past few seasons but time to hang up the boots mate as you're holding us back. We have the tools (players) just the wrong manager to use them correctly as has been witnessed in recent weeks. Sorry but I cannot stand the bloke. Bad advert for chewing gum with attitude too, just looks plain aggro...

The time when we were flying at the start of the season then i was happy but all i have seen since the return of Nolan is over negative football from Big Sam.

I was on Stop Hammer Time while the site was down and left it just before Christmas, too many nasty trolls on their site who could not accept we were heading for a bad patch when Nolan came back into the team and Carroll replaced Valencia. I was slated for suggesting BFS could not get Nolan and Carroll back quick enough and we would suffer for it!.
Not a Happy Hammer at the moment as we seem to be floundering with same old same old longball and Downing pushed out wide (where he is ineffective) to accommodate Nolan and dare I say it Noble and we have lost the midfield and therefore most of the possession.
I'm still going to games (WBA away in the cup next) but I get frustrated when I still see Nolan playing as a passenger and Noble giving away fouls as both are too slow in midfield, even Song seems fed up recently without Downing partnering him in the middle!

A D Bonds

Agreed. I want to see Nolan replaced in our midfield by Poyet. Nolan is NOT a midfielder and never will be, that's not being derogatory to Nolan, it's sadly a fact.
There were also rumours that Noble was going to be shipped out to make room for Fletcher in our midfield! If, and I stress IF that was true, I find it astonishing. I've never been a big fan of Fletcher, and he isn't any quicker than Noble, but 4 years older! I agree that if we are aiming to join the Europe chasing teams Noble will have to eventually be replaced, but by someone better and faster!
