so by most accounts Payet has been poor this season and his heart has left the building it would seem. a bit like hazard last year….lazy, not bothered. only seems to turn up for a free kick nowadays. this in mind, who thinks now is the time to put him on the market but not for cash? as a swap deal? who thinks Payet for Bashwhatsit at chelsea would be good? or Payet for depay? or Payet for Wiltshire? or Payet for Delph and cash? some of those i mentioned have question marks over them i know but sometimes a move down suits a big ego that has come crashing down at a big club. just throwing it out for opinion is all.

are the worst. A player that doesn't have the skills Payet has and not putting in the effort is a net loss but not a huge loss. Players of Payet's ability not putting in the hard work in devastating as we see now and for Chelski last season as you point out. While his worth is still great now is the time or at least summer will be when a plan for a good replacement can be made a seen through to conclusion. Prior to last season we had problems with creativity in that we didn't have any for the four seasons with Sam and before that too. The replacement needs to be another creative player and I like Sigurdsson from Swansea. Getting in a striker or two that score often and doesn't spend half a season every season out injured is another story so I'm not so keen on Batshitratshit coming in as Payet's direct replacement.

Nope, How about we make runs off him when he does eventually get the ball once every 30 minutes. Other players need to step up. No point selling him as we're not gonna sign anyone as good let alone better people can critisize payet as much as they wan. Hes struggling because the team is. Last season we had fluid attacking football with movement, pace and purpose. Teams couldn't afford to stick 2 o 3 men on payet because how dangerous we were across the pitch and he always had runners off him to pick out passes. This season its slow pedestrian rigid football no ideas no creativity every time Payet gets the balll hes surrounded by 3 players and nobody within 30 yards of him yet till manages to create chances its just we have nobody putting the chances away. City is the latest example, picks up the ball dribbles past someone looks up and nobody making a run or is within 30 yards of him. When fletcher came on he finally had someone make a run and found him straight away. But then fletcher was also crowded out due to having nobody within 20 yards of him. Payet didnt defend much last season but it wasnt a problem then. As much as I like bilic I think he may have to go because this comes down to him and our entire team looks unfit including Payet. I know its yout opinion DITM but for christ sake look who your touting as possible replacements. Sell payet and sign Delph? If you think thats a good move then you have no right to critisize the boards dealings. Also your point about chelsea? Hazard never looked lazy he looked out of form like the rest of there team and what did it come down to manager and tactics and confidence.
