Another weekend another must win game and the usual statements coming out from the players....trainings been good this week and we are 100% focused on getting a result at Leicester we are going to do everything we can to secure the right result blah blah blah.....who believes this nonsense? the players themselves? I doubt that having seen a total lack of commitment from the majority of them all season....there has been a total lack of fight to win matches most of the season hence the terrible results we have been getting...whether we stay up or go down most these players need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror and ask did they really give it there all in matches....of course not but hey its not there fault its the managers the fans the stadium the board the tea lady but certainly not the players!...Leicester have nothing to play for this season now but after last weeks thumping by palace I see them wanting to put the record straight for there fans and what better side to do that to than west ham.....so lets see if our players truly have the desire and fight to win a game they cannot afford to lose....Brighton beat manure last night does anyone see our mob doing that on Thursday? nope me neither so today has to be a win but I will not be holding my breath.
new
Agree there ,same old thing,we are all together etc crap, then they stroll around like they are in the local park, methinks we are going down ,i hope i am wrong but don’t think so,i am annoyed but sad,the only one’s that show passion are us fans
Will they at least show some fight?Debateable
Not confident about this game at all,i think the writing is on the wall for this season
Training went well because they had a day off!
Give me a break! No, I don't believe anything they say anymore. It looks like they think 35 points is enough. Huddersfield have City away (and they want to break 100 pts), Chelsea away, and Arsenal at home for Whinger's last ever match in charge. I'm sure they think: WBA, Stoke and Huddersfield are SURE to end up below us. What could possibly go wrong ... In their minds they are already in Ibiza.
Well put Mac. This is what
Well put Mac. This is what p1sses me of the most about the team. I consistently see teams in a similar mess as us fight tooth and nail to get results like Brighton did last night, whereas apart from 1 or 2 odd players we just continuously roll over for those same teams and get our tummy tickled. There is no unity or manleyness for a fight from us.
Agree with all the above
But haven't we been saying this for years, if not it seems like it! I often ask myself why bother, they don't. I think some players do not play enough. I could and would love to [play golf and tennis everyday, waiting all week for a game would frustrate me, I know they train but it's not the same.
Three points will see us safe.
It would mean that Stoke could not possibly catch us (but they could be gone after today anyway). It would mean that Huddersfield would have to win TWO of three from City (a), Chelsea (a) and Arsenal in Whinger's last match in charge. Even I can't believe that will happen. But if we get done 4-1 again, the trap door will be yawning. Strange times for a fan: I'm more concerned about Everton, Palace and Bournemouth winning than I am about us doing so.
Is ginge fit?
He's the one player who is up for a battle imo
Nope ginge and obiang are
Nope ginge and obiang are close but won't make the game, plus Hernandez has cried off too.
Palace drive the nail in 2-1 at Full Time!!!
that's one team relegated that is not us!
Stoke down...
I was going to type ill miss shawcross & co,but we could still be playing them next season....FFS COYI
dont be silly hammer65
he'll be playing in claret&blue next season and I don't mean Burnley!(or villa if they come up)
Yep I can see that happening
Yep I can see that happening Mac. Anyway mentality better v Leicester today?
yes it was
and the sun was shining whats going on....but I think we all no it was more of a case of one team having nothing to play for and another having everything to play for
