Forums:
I have to admit during the one year ( approximately ) for which westhamfans.org was lost to us I had a look at other West Ham sites and forums and I did not find them remotely as enjoyable as this one. Never registered on Kumb, I didn't like Westhamonline for some reason and as for a site I found Claretandhugh to be extremely annoying and I only went on there to get irritated by a certain fellow who loves to provide a " top insider info " lol. Opinions?
Agree. Org is best.

Yep!And you can't beat a bit of Bully ;) X

LOL
It's not the other forums that annoy me, it's the T*****s on the forums!! Hahahaha.........
WHTID
I also use WestHamTillIDie for chat etc. Quite a lot of users on that site. I wouldn't stop using this one though. Good to have variation. Haven't used Kumb or Claret.
I went on Stop Hammer Time
I went on Stop Hammer Time and actually went to one of their podcasts and had a great chat with Julian Dicks reminiscing about the past, that aside the people who run Stophammertime I found to be right up their own backsides and very pretentious especially when I posted that when Nolan and Carroll come back Allardyce will revert to 4-5-1 to accommodate his mates and we would suffer for it! I got slated for that comment so basically told then they were delusional and left the site, gladly West Ham Fans was back online thanks to a Hong Kong contact and now this format which in all honesty I must admit I am very glad to see up and running!
I checked for this site on a
I checked for this site on a almost daily basis and found the two reincarnations under different names but as the population had reduced so much I checked a few others out but never got out of 1st gear on any of them to be honest. Not the same feel and the camaraderie that had been built up over several years was impossible to replace. Thought I'd died and gone to heaven when the Org rose again like a phoenix from the ashes and it's great to see so many users back too.
Nev & james “Take a bow”
Org is Number 1 and long may it continue!
was on a west ham fb site
I was on a west ham face book site. it was too bad but after Christmas when the bubble burst, I couldn't believe some of the shite that was posted. In the 48 yrs I've been following the hammers I think I've seen it all, but some of the post ( for a hammers fan ) was embarrassing. in the end you couldn't voice an opinion...
Org is decent
No back stabbing just decent slightly heated observations and thoughts and that is how a forum should be.
I tried others, but nothing compares to Org.
You get an occasional rebuff
You get an occasional rebuff on here but thankfully if it gets out of hand Neville always comes in and warns the offender/s and it stops! As I said in an earliier post a few days ago I got slated and taken to task by the guys that run stophammertime for my outrageous comment that when Nolan and Carroll come back Allardyce will revert to 4-5-1 and we would suffer for it!
That would not happen on here because most guys on here know their football and know Allardyce all to well!
I agree
But then, I only appear on this one, so I can understand your collective dismissal of others.....
Sure I've seen you elsewhere
Sure I've seen you elsewhere Dazzler...nudge, nudge, wink, wink...
Org No. 1
I also post on kumb and think the diverse topic of forums and number of posters make it an interesting and engaging site to be part of. There are some very funny discussions that take place and the debates can get detailed too.
However, the org feels more like home and there is a sense that everyone knows everyone else. We all get on (mostly) and the discussions are passionate. It's not the same on here as it once was and old posters and banter are sorely missed. Also, the constant repetition of Anti Sam threads are annoying.
As much as it has changed over the years the org still the place to be though. The number 1 West Ham forum!
It's not the forums per sey
It's not the forums per sey that are the problem, it's some of the complete tossers that post on them.
