Very interesting read this article, the full length version goes on to reveal that Ravel Morrison was asked to sign a new deal while at west ham, on improved terms, despite having TWO years left on his contract, just so long as he changed agents to Mark Curtis, who happened to be big sam's agent as well as chicken kiev's, winston reid, andy carroll and several others who were at the club, Morrison didn't want to show any disallegiance to the agent he then had and declined the offer, this was a short time after Morrison had 'dismantled' Tottenham on their own ground.
Next thing Morrison is 'dispatched' from the club to go to QPR with Allardyce citing 'disciplinary issues as the reason. Ravel Morrison was no angel, and he definitely chose to hang out with the wrong people when he was young, but he was kid from a poor back ground who unfortuantely chose NOT to leave his mates who he had grown up with, in one of the most deprived areas of Manchester, behind him as he began his career under the tutelage of Alex Ferguson. What a pity that Morrison landed where attempts were made to exploit him, and not to fully 'exploit' the wonderful talent that he undoubtedly had.- Ed

I cannot begin to tell you
I cannot begin to tell you how I felt listening to Ravel's account on what happened back then. Young kid with bags of talent stopped in his stride by the serial criminal BFS. The c u Next Tuesday should be locked up for what he's done. This kid would've run rings around Grealish in todays wage climes. Hard done by for sure. If I'm honest, I'd play him next to Lingard tomorrow...they would be dynamite...Okay I'm dreaming, but seriously there needs to be an investigation in the the FAT arsewipes dealings and how much he syphoned off. He needs to do a bit of bird to put others like him off...Rant over, sorry peeps...
Spot on Aus, needs to be an
Spot on Aus, needs to be an inquiry. That Fat T*** always had his nose in the money trough ala England etc etc.
But lets be clear, Morrison was totally wild, even the great Sir Alex couldnt handle him. Had someone tamed him you could build a team around him, what a talent! Not sure if its still on YouTube the goal he scored in training with the England under 21's.. Genius!
Also be clear that The Moyessaih wouldn't touch this type of talented demented soul with a barge pole... Rightly so!
Agreed there
Nev that sounds awful, and am not surprised at all
So are we the reason he was
So are we the reason he was such a flop at Sheffield Utd then too?
I think he was damaged goods

Well he had his moment in the
Well he had his moment in the sun and scored that wonder goal against the spuds. I guess we'll never know what could have been....
I think the Boy hung around
I think the Boy hung around with all the wrong sorts away from football, and it reflected onto his job, being a lucrative Professional Footballer, where as my parents would of kicked my arse into touch, and made me knuckle under, and made to see sense, perhaps he wasnt as fortunate to get that sort of guidance and support,im sure Fergie tried to take him under his wing,i think he did with Giggs and co,but the lad wouldnt meet him half way,big shame he had talent.
yes agree essex
total waste of talent and a life ruined by outside money grabbers what a shame :.(
