Pundits experts everyone pulling there hair out over the deplorable way Everton and now Forest are being treated by the Premier league and they are being persecuted needlessly.

Utter Utter Rubbish they are being punished for breaking rules which all 20 premier league clubs signed up to and agreed to abide to. If the punishment was a fine and a warning would we be hearing about this would it be such a drama? of course not but because the punishment has been a large points deduction they are all pulling there hair out over it and this proves that it is a better way to punish than a fine which is pocket change for clubs in the Premier league.

Now the argument is that the rules are out of date and that the £105million bar that you must not go over in a three year period is way to low in todays market and whilst that is a valid point it does not change the fact that again every club in the league had to sign up to the current rules and not one seems to have raised this argument before but now the reality of points being deducted is here this argument being used.

What about Citeh what about Chelski is another smokescreen being used but again while i agree feet have been dragged over these clubs being punished it has been said that these are different to the laws that Everton&Forest have been charged under and again without doubt the very best legal representation teams like that can afford i think all the i's and t's being dotted and crossed checked and checked again before those cases are heard.

So to summarise i have know problem with the punishment being dealt out if it is shown that clubs are not following the rules that they have all agreed on and that the punishment must be harsh to hammer home the point to those who may think they can hide and financial Shenanigans

Spot on HG. My sentiments exactly. Fining clubs is pointless. Having no money is what got Everton & Forest into this predicament in the first place. So a points deduction is the way forward.
Though it makes for a fruitless transfer window. On a positive. Agents are not making exorbitant amounts of money adding fuel to the fire. Chelsea and City will get theirs. But when?

Makes you think that just for once the club was honest in stating that FFP has hindered them in the market a bit. But then again when you waste money on utter shite you have to take some of the blame. Of course buying class, turning it to shit and then selling at a loss doesn't help either!

See we are being linked with Phillips! Why oh why would we want him? Is he a striker? He's not better than what we have in that position. Sicknote waste of time & money.

There is a money issue here. Everton and Forest are skint so no issue to the FA.

City will fight this in the highest courts in the land and will stretch out the case for decades, they have the resources to hire the top lawyers who will find a way of kicking this into the very long grass... lets see

Looking at this January transfer window it has become clear all clubs are stopping buying players for buying sake for stupid money with a possible points deduction hanging over there heads if they fail the FFP test which goes to prove that taking points from clubs is far better than fines because if it was a fine only punishment the madness would of continued.
Newcastle panicking now and having to sell to make sure they stay within the rules and now touting Callum Wilson around and on that note i hope we do not go for him because he would just join Antonio in the treatment room and we cannot afford another sicknote.

Points more precious than money and that has been shown in this window as its the quietest for a long long time
