As the club ponder what exactly to do with Nikola Vlasic, news is emerging that the Irons are showing interest in acquiring one time target Moise Kean in a complicated deal from Everton via Juventus. Keen is currently half way through a two year loan deal from Everton to Juve who are obliged to then make the deal permanent for €28 Million. They are however reluctant to retain the striker next season and are actively seeking to send him back to the Premier League, in order circumnavigate their obligation to buy him from Everton.

An Italy international, Kean went on loan from Everton last summer on a two year loan deal that was to cost Juventus €7 Million AND 100% of his €70,000 per week wages with an agreement in place to buy him outright next year for €28 Million.

Respected Italian media outlet Tuttosport have reported that Kean’s underwhelming return to his homeland has made Juventus try to get out of keeping him, their representatives have been in London to have 'conversations' with two Premier League clubs, believed to be Arsenal and West Ham.

The reasoning behind Juventus making these approaches is that they intend to find a buyer for Kean in advance of buying the player outright from Everton and then selling him on to the club they have negotiated the pre-sale with. Phew, this deal looks like an accident waiting to happen. Everton would have to 'play ball' with Juve who would have to 'trust' a Premier League team to 'honour' their negotiations, well excuse us, but the words trust and honour are hardly synonymous with Premier League club's business dealings are they?

Kean rejected a move to West Ham before he signed for Everton, mainly because he wanted to be numero uno in the striking department and was insisting on a five year deal which Hammers were unwilling to grant bearing in mind the price of £25 Million and Keen's age, this being because they had their fingers well and truly incinerated by the deal they handed Reece Oxford.

Kean has only recently turned 22 years old and is far from being the finished article, but if he could be purchased at a beneficial price he could definitely be worth a shot, young and hungry he is, his attitude HAS been questioned in Italy, but a lot of the negativity surrounding the player in Italy is because Ultra's don't iike his stance against racism.

His 'stance' on race would be welcomed at West Ham, so long as he can play as well! -ED
