Apparently Haller was offside

Apparently Haller was offside and even if he scored it would not have counted. Not the point as he should have done so even if it gave the fans a temporary cause for celebration. But why did Bowen get substituted when he was really a thorn in the side of Man U. Moyes should have taken off Haller and moved Bowen to a centre forward position. He would have had a better probability of scoring than Haller when linked up with Benrahma!!
