The Hammers haven’t honed in on three points, it’s been yet another groaning game that resulted in the opposition scoring, but this one was the most heartbreaking of all. A miraculous seven minutes of added time came from thin air, as well as the Hammers breathing on Manchester’s Finest, all of which supposedly resulted in enough time for Manchester United to score.
Shattered hearts, shattered players. In regard to substitutions, Nuno didn’t place a foot wrong. Taty had to be the first to come off, given how tired he appeared to be, but not having Pablo as an option hurt. Wilson’s appearance provided attack, but in terms of tracking back, the forward offered little to nothing, which meant Nuno’s side was effectively a man down defensively.
Magassa, Walker-Peters, Adama and Scarles were all the correct choices and put on at perfect times, yet it still wasn’t enough to cross the line.
The problem Nuno encountered today is that playing two strikers up top provides us with willpower, it provides bright, shiny attacking Football but against this Manchester United side, it’s not possible to do. West Ham don’t have the pace in defence to counter Manchester United’s attacking, meaning the only way around them was to soak up pressure, of which we appeared to do so to a much more efficient standard than the club has previously, but those seven miraculous minutes were too long to hold on for. It was an ugly game on paper, but almost a perfected performance.
If Hammer’s fans were honest with themselves, they would’ve snapped their arm of for a draw tonight, but given the way that it came around, it’s nothing but a pain to the heart. It’s not got fatal consequences, but enough to put you in a worry.
Simon Hooper’s new mansion location has yet to be decided, but for now, it’s a point achieved at the Bowl but a loss at heart. West Ham now find themselves two points to be on equal terms with Nottingham Forest, that of which should have been achieved tonight, but the gap inevitably feels it will extend given their opponents tomorrow night.
A standstill battle but the war is yet to be won. This West Ham side has got its fight in it, but it has to be shown until the end. - LN

I was astonished at 7 mins. No words!
Disagree about Traore
Indeed I actually fail to see what he brings to the game. One of either Bowen or Summerville should have stayed on for that moment when United had all their players upfield.. Its a massive disappointment to drop two points there but that was probably the best performance all season so positives can be taken from that game.
As for the seven minutes, we should be used to that by now with that team.
