TV 'Dilly Dallies' Over Irons v Villa But Moyes Is Busy

Perhaps it is because there have been so many Barclays Premier League games broadcast since project restart that details regarding coverage of the final day's games are still not confirmed, especially the Irons final game of the season against relegation threatened Aston Villa at the London Stadium.

At a quick glance all the other games have had their broadcasters confirmed, so why not the West Ham v Villa match? There is a strong possibility that potential broadcasters were waiting to see if the match was going to be of great significance or not, well with premier league survival all but mathematically confirmed the game is not as important to Hammers fans as it might have been, not so for the Villains and their supporters.

There is a possibility that Villa might arrive in London knowing they still have control over their own destiny, if Watford were to lose heavily against Manchester City and Arsenal, and Villa were to somehow win their penultimate game home to Arsenal, they could go in to action against David Moyes' men 'ramped up' to try and survive.

Of course results may have already condemned Villa to dropping down by the time they visit the London Stadium, and even if they haven't, you get the feeling that 'New West Ham' are not going to roll over for the visitors, players are playing for their places in next season's 'leaner, meaner and younger squad.

It is quite apparent that David Moyes will have next to bugger all for his transfer budget, and will have the unenviable task of trying to offload several 'big name' players that the club paid too much for, and who are on unsustainable salaries. Make no mistake, the club will end up paying dearly for these 'vanity' signings, and that includes Manuel Pellegrini!

Little old West Ham tried mixing with the 'Big Boys' and got well and truly spanked, far better for the club to cut it's cloth according to it's realistic aspirations, not pie in the Sky. It will probably take nearly eighteen months for the club to recover from the Pellegrini profligacy era, possibly longer.

Moyes is not perfect in the transfer market, Jordan Hugill will haunt him as a poor acquisition, although there may be some redemption if Hugill is used as a make weight in the proposed deal for Eberechi Eze from QPR where Hugill is currently on loan from West Ham. Fans would be forgiven for thinking the broadcasters would be interested in showing the Villains battling for survival against the New Irons, instead they are happy to show West Ham's visit to Old Trafford in the hope of showing how far up Ole Gunnar's back side they can climb.

Roll on when Amazon broadcast additional games, they actually inform their viewers well in advance about the coverage, why don't the others? - Ed

That we are gonna win away at OT on wednesday night or should I say 3.00am Thursday morning for us who are suffering life down in the beautiful city of Sydney, where every day feels like a holiday, even when building decks for a living. I hate digging holes but it keeps me young...so they say...!
A tight 1-2 away win for the Cockney boys.
Would be so funny if they play the crowd singing it when the game nears the end...anyone know someone at the TV station who could fix it for us LOL
