Hammers Looming But No Blooming

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Sun, 13/07/2025 - 11:57

Over the past couple of days, if any of your attention has gone towards the media, all you would’ve seen are rumours upon rumours and supposedly lame offers being put in for players.

Unfortunately, the majority of these are true, and the fact of the matter is that West Ham haven’t been able to make any concrete offers as of yet, and we’re even getting to the level where we’re starting to annoy club presidents.

Slavia Prague’s club president, Jaroslav Tvrdik, has exclaimed his disapproval at how long the deal is taking for West Ham not to agree on a fee… but agree on a payment structure for El Hadji Malick Diouf. In order to add to fans’ frustration, Diouf has expressed his interest in joining us, agreed on personal terms and has also turned down other clubs in order to prioritise us, yet we still won’t agree on a payment structure.

In terms of other news? Former Aston Villa player Douglas Luiz has made it known that he’d like to leave Juventus, and their manager has already started to form plans for next season without him included.

A possible deal was discussed with an opportunity for a loan with an obligation to buy, which West Ham are open to, but Douglas’ 160k per week wage asking price is putting us off at the moment.

It’s not the Hammers’ first rodeo when it comes to late summer business, so to see it again wouldn’t come as a shock; however, the biggest issue that comes with this is that Potter & Macaulay are losing out on their identified targets, which is going to come back and bite us.

It’s been 27 days since the window opened, West Ham have lost out on over 7+ targets that were identified, and no transfers in sight… let’s hope that the Kudus money is still a pending transaction.

One Gone And Another To Follow

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Fri, 11/07/2025 - 10:51

Yesterday, the departure of Mohammed Kudus was officially completed to Spurs, and it’s fair to say that the media was having a field day with it all.

The confirmed transfer fee is £54,500,000 however the add ons are currently unknown, the deal will be paid across 3 years, however, it’s confirmed that £5,450,000 of that transfer fee will go to Ajax due to a 10% Sell on clause, but the remainder of the money all will go to Potter & Macaulay this window.

In addition to the Kudus sale, Guido Rodriguez seems to be the next nearest player to leave. The Argentine is set for a move to Mexico with two clubs having interest, those of which being Tigres & Club America and supposedly a €2,000,000 bid from Tigres has already been accepted. For sure, in this instance, it’s a clear and obvious decision that Potter has to make. Selling Guido not only gives us a small sum, but it’s someone off the wage bill who was earning far too much for what was being provided.

A replacement for Rodriguez isn’t too necessary with Freddie Potts returning, and Potter has confirmed his intention to utilise him for the upcoming season. Potts also has spoken out upon his return to West Ham, saying: “My return has come at a perfect time. It means a lot to be back here because I’m a massive fan and it’s always been my dream to play for West Ham.”

A young, hungry player who wants to fight for the badge… what else could we ask for! It’s exactly what the club is desperate to have.

It is also important to note that after seeing the outrage of officially confirming that Kudus had been sold, Sully decided to put fuel on the fire and make his comments public, saying “We know the fans are unhappy, but how many fans, if they ran West Ham and had £54.5m to spend, would spend it buying Mohammed Kudus? Hopefully, the money is used to improve the team. All money will be used to bring in new players.” \

He’s spoken his piece, Hammers fans will have to see if it lives to be true.

Mohammed ‘Judas’ As Exit Is Imminent

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Wed, 09/07/2025 - 21:55

The latest West Ham saga seems to be coming to a close finally. It appears increasingly likely that Kudus will leave West Ham to join Spurs for the upcoming season, with a total transfer fee of £55,000,000, which is expected to be paid across three windows.

The entirety of the transfer fee is expected to go towards Potter & Macaulay in an attempt to build the squad for next season and get some players in to ensure that we can actually stay up.

Kudus’ exit and transfer request to Spurs is nothing short of disgraceful. Dithering Dave upstairs has checked the calendar and seen that we’ve got to pay Barclays the loan that we took out, so I’m sure that’s what’s encouraged the club to get the deal across the line. Hammers fans were understanding and knew that we needed money, but not to the level to accept a bid from Spurs, which we so claimed that we shall “never” do business with again… how’s that turned out, Sully?

Though it is important to note that this isn’t Kudus’ first rodeo when wanting to move clubs. Back in 2022 and 2023, he refused to turn up for Ajax’s training session in order to force a move out of the club. Whether Potter liked it or not, it was only a matter of time before things got ugly, and chaos in the dressing room is the last thing Potter and the club need at the current moment in time. This was a case of calm before the thunder, and in this instance, West Ham only got the calm aspect from the situation.

The only possible way that the Hammers fans will be okay with this move is if the money is well spent and is well reinvested into the squad; otherwise, it’s something that could come back to haunt us.

Mohammed Kudus’ abnormally strong interest in joining Spurs has earned him the nickname Mohammed ‘Judas’. Sounds like come September 13th, that’s going to be an interesting fixture for West Ham fans, second home game of the season too.

During his two-year spell, Kudus would score 19 goals and 13 assists in all competitions for the club, but no matter what he scored, achieved or provided for the Hammers, he’ll forever be remembered in the wrong light by fans for forcing a move to Tottenham.

Training ground

So reading last night on various sites and watching a few vids it appears the club have to pay off a £40million bank loan by the 15th of July and another £5million borrowed to improve the training ground facilities lol well what did that money really go on.

So as ever the owners/billionaires never use there own money and willing to sell off any asset that will cover the loan and sod the fans if its not one/two/three very good players in order to do that.

So as we new all along football is no longer football it is just a place for the the super rich and there egos to park there money and make even more money by using the club to make themselves richer and if it should go tits up well why do they care they will just move on to the next mug club.

U-Turn In Moroccan Standoff

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Mon, 07/07/2025 - 09:56

West Ham central defender Nayef Aguerd was once seen as a brilliant signing for the club, a defender who could play with the ball at his feet, find the pass and was fast, a manager's dream in most cases. However, this case proved to be a 'nightmare' for West Ham, and a falling out with David Moyes and Julien Lopetegui seemed to indicate that the Moroccan international would never return to West Ham.

The 29-year-old was loaned out to Real Sociedad, and after a successful spell in Spain, he returned to West Ham officially only on 30th June.

Nayef hasn't been shy in showing that he's wanted to leave West Ham, which you could've probably figured out through his Instagram post when going out on loan, but even after a year away, the feeling is the same.

Graham Potter has reiterated that he would like to keep Aguerd and utilise him for next season, but Aguerd is still exploring options for a move elsewhere.

It's a tough situation to be in for the fans, the player himself and the manager. The manager likes the defender and would like to use him for the upcoming season, which would also mean that there'd be one less signing for us. Yet, the player we could only assume would be worried about the atmosphere if he returned, or perhaps he simply doesn't enjoy London and wants out.

It's said that IF we can get a reasonable offer for Aguerd, then we will consider accepting the offer due to the player wanting to leave, but the club & manager are more than happy to keep the central defender, if an acceptable offer isn't provided.

Nayef Aguerd's contract currently runs out in 2027.

Goalkeeper Interest Ramps Up With Progression Made

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Sat, 05/07/2025 - 13:10

At the end of the 2024/25 Premier League season, there was a lot of talk about signings, coaching staff, and players leaving. Since time has now passed, the club have decided not to renew Lukasz Fabianski's contract, as well as release Xavi Valero as a goalkeeper coach to replace him with two others. The first of which being confirmed as Linus Kandolin, the 34-year-old has been poached from IF Elfsborg, where he'd spent over half a decade and before that worked with Graham Potter previously at Ostersunds FK for three years.

However, ain't no point in having a goalkeeper coach with no goalie!

The club have been identifying targets and started to make moves with the following four players being the ones most considered: Mads Hermansen, Aaron Ramsdale, Robert Sanchez and most recently, Zion Suzuki.

The club's primary two targets of those four are Mads Hermansen from Leicester and Zion Suzuki from Parma.

Hermansen has been a player that West Ham have been monitoring since the end of the season, with a £12,000,000 price tag expected to be enough for the Danish international he's been high on the watch list, however, Zion Suzuki offers an opportunity that Sulky Sull has been desperate for which is the Asian market, despite being born in the USA, the 6'3 keeper originally comes from Ghana and Japan and chooses to officially represent Japan as his choice of nation due to being raised there.

Talks have already been going on for the pair of them, with Suzuki taking the 'top target' title for the moment and with reasonable personal terms and a reasonable requested fee on the table, the club anticipate that this transfer could move very quickly due to how eager the board and Potter are to have this deal over the line.

Diogo Jota

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Thu, 03/07/2025 - 11:36

I'd like to make a small post in honour of Diogo Jota. He never played for us, played for a team that many despise in this fanbase and also assisted and scored countless goals against us, but most importantly is that he was a Footballer whom many enjoyed & addored to watch as well as he was a Father to three and had only been married for two weeks.

I'd like to give my condolences to Jota and his family, his brother, and his parents who have seen something which no one should.

Summer Springs Offers

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Thu, 03/07/2025 - 10:51

Action and movement in the window has finally arrived, two names have finally been revealed, after a lot of fake ones, with the Hammers now interested in Charlie Cresswell and El Hadji Malick Diouf.

The Englishman who’s currently playing for Toulouse has been valued at £18,000,000 and is a player that Graham Potter & his team highly admire. Due to struggles with French finances, it is a real possibility that a deal could be completed for around the £15- £18 million mark.

Charlie Cresswell joined Toulouse last season for just €4,500,000, so the French side is aiming to 4x their original investment for the Englishman.

Another player who is closely on the radar is El Hadji Malick Diouf, the 20-year-old who is regarded as a youth prospect who would go straight into the squad and interchange with Scarles, as Emerson will leave the club this window.

Sparta Prague are demanding another €5 million on our €20 million offer. It is something that doesn’t seem far-fetched to make a deal possible to happen, especially seeing as the player has agreed on personal terms and wants to join the Hammers.

With Charlie being a central defender and Diouf being able to play in most positions on the left-hand side, it means we are also exploring other options than just our primary target of a central midfielder.
