so who is to blame

management/physio..medical staff/players/board....maybe us for believing? I just do not know.. we are so poor right now and it cannot be down to simply playing in a new stadium...we can blame the board for saving money in the summer the manager who must of had input into the players we got in.. the players who were already there just not performing or seemingly bothered.....or maybe us fans for not creating an awesome atmosphere in our state of the art blah blah blah stadium....inside a year to say the wheels have come off would be an understatement...last nights cup game saw us revert back to how we have been performing this season and why? Payet looked disinterested maybe because of the team picked to play or the formation maybe he has been tapped up who knows? but the way we started both halves was a smack in the face for the fans that travelled and gave great support....the team are lazy and waiting for someone to take responsibility but nobody is......and whats happening in the physio/medical room? we hear that players will not be allowed to play until they are 100% sure they are injury free and gone through rehabilitation course of training and prep getting them ready to be available for the first team....back for two games and sakho is out injured for 6 weeks the old thigh injury occurring once more if carroll ever laces his boots up again who is confident he will last the week let alone 6 months? not me....so again the question is how can so many things go so wrong in a year? you can blame bilic all you want and if they sacked him(which I doubt very very much)and got a new man in you are still stuck with the same underperforming squad that if you lost payet/cresswell/Antonio/kouyate would start to look very average indeed....major problems at west ham right now and to good to go down ha! we have been relegated with better teams and look at Newcastle last season they thought we'll be ok and see where they ended up....

Dont know if many have seen the pictures of our beloved uppers being torn down , i cant help thinking our current form is a kind of revenge for our owners greed ,its a fact that most thought one maybe two points from the current run of four matches compare this to our form last year the fact is if we dont get our finger out we will go down and if that happens i personally feel it will be the end of this great club ,imagine 12 to 15 thousand in a 60 thousand stadium
We will be a laughingstock sky will have a field day .
Looking at the match tonight only comfirms my doomsday theary ,our lack of coincidence linked with a few very average players ,one shot on target and heads going down early means we are defiantly back to the bad old days of the last decade when we were up and down like a fidelers elbow ,i can only hope and pray that i wake up from this nightmare and soon

Time to compete

lot of talk about getting nothing from Liverpool and Arsenal. IMO this is not what football is all about. We are in the premier league and we are there to compete against anyone in the league regardless, we're not just here to compete against the bottom halfers. Im sure Bilic doesnt take this attitude, at least i hope not! last season he showed that he was the opposite of the allardyce 'respect the draw' away from home as we went to big names and won. there is no reason in my view why this cannot continue. we have been poor yes yes its true but we have a good squad when all fit and this i agree would be the key argument as they aren't all fit. but we have to approach the games as equals not inferiors. i look at liverpool for instance and don't see anything to fear. they are flying at the moment yes but lets face it milner, henderson, lovren, can, firmino etc aren't players id be worrying about too much. yes mane is quality but we have quality too. lets be more positive in my view, lets not dwell on losses or performances in the past, its always about the game ahead and we kick off at 0-0. lets go to anfield and believe we can win, draw at worst. lets take on arsenal at home and get the crowd going for the london derby and lets have faith in bilic and the players. we have match winners in our team, we have payet, lanzini, antonio and even ayew who can all come up with big performances no matter who we face.

Forward planning needed

Cheikhou Kouyaté, Diafra Sakho, Andre Ayew and Sofiane Feghouli if fit could all be missing in mid jan to 5th feb because of the african nations cup add to that the rumour of us being in for the sunderland centre back Lamine kone for around (£15million)if true he would also if fit be at the African nations cup......so what will happen to our formation and players coming in during this time.....upfront we all know we are short but sakho showed against utd his turn of pace has clubs having to respect us a bit more and sit back so without him will we buy/loan sturridge as a replacement? kouyate will be a massive loss so ginge reid and ogbonna will be the back 3 Antonio/cressy as wingbacks obiang in middle with noble lanzini/payet and who knows maybe carroll(new that would make you smile) upfront....there would not be much depth on the bench fletcher and maybe samuelson making a showing but we would not have much room for changing players around so have to hope we stay injury free for that month but we all know our luck there.....so heres hoping for heavy snow to fall during those weeks....palace/citeh at home saints/boro away....3 winnable matches at a critical time and a tasty one that you never know we may surprise a few again...
seriously though it is clearly going to be a crucial time for us and I do hope those at the club are aware and plans are being made or we could be in the brown stuff even more than we currently are.

England international

on talking about sturridge and him being an 'england international' it got me thinking, does this really count for anything these days? it used to indicate a players worth and value but can anyone honestly say that these days playing for england is any big deal to have on your c.v? my argument is what exactly has england done in say the last decade or more? can we say that sturridge is worth signing because he's an england international? whats the value of this these days? is it more than say a colombian international? or a russian international? or swiss? we are no better than a lot of the nations that qualify for tournaments and do nothing of note. Its with this in mind that i wonder why english players attract such a high premium still for prem clubs? i think it also says a lot about the nations football standards that gareth south gate is going to get the job. i know he's had experience with the youngsters but this is a man who was abysmal at club level. how does he end up with the top job in the country football wise? i do however believe that perhaps the right way to look at it is well actually the players are not very good so whoever is in charge is going to make little difference. south gate however tactically is going to get out thought by many a nation in my view especially if we get to the big tournaments. he even accepted himself that he is just a 'basics' man. all in all its a pretty sad state of affairs. we've got an ageing rooney who seems to still be the main man for england despite him being pretty hopeless. says a lot that we have to keep debating if he should be in the team or not as there is simply a lack of talent to choose from otherwise he wouldn't be anywhere near it. he reminds me of david platt….no real ball skills or incisive passing but could score goals…only rooney can't do that anymore.

why the obsession

january coming round and its clear we will be buying but why are the board so obsessed with big name/marquis players? why not do better research on players instead of oh yeah heard of him he must be good lets buy!! sturridge and now mandzukic have been linked with moves...the latter is 30 never played in this league why would he be a success? the former is selfish and when injured its never short term err been there doing that right now..
so why buy names? is it because they fear as fans we would not go if we have never heard of the player?...yes sometimes it is nice to be linked to players with high profiles but come on Antonio is proof that you can unearth real gems for little outlay and now his profile is as high as most in the prem....so stop scouring the foreign market to death lets have a look closer to home and whilst you do have to pay more surely its better than laying out big bucks for lame ducks.....

Manchester United vs West Ham
Premier League 2016/17
27th November 2016, 16:30 pm BST
Old Trafford, Manchester

Manchester United News & Preview

Manchester United will be keen to put three points on the road at Old Trafford this Sunday after drawing each of their last three home Premier League games despite being the dominant side in each.

Arsenal were the latest team to come away with a point despite the Gunners waiting until the 89th minute to get their first shot on target all game.

Jose Mourinho's side also have Europa League action to contend with on Thursday evening needing a result at home to Feyenoord to give them a good chance of reaching the knockout stages.

Chris Smalling is yet to return to full training so the United boss may keep Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo as his starting centre-back partnership. Daley Blind is an option. Eric Bailly is also out.

In midfield Marouane Fellaini remains a doubt but Mourinho has the rest of his team available to face West Ham. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is available again after suspension.

Predicted Manchester United Starting Lineup (4-2-3-1): de Gea; Valencia, Jones, Rojo, Shaw; Herrera, Carrick; Rashford, Mata, Martial; Ibrahimovic

West Ham Team News & Preview

It was a devastating blow to concede two very late goals in losing 3-2 at White Hart Lane on Saturday after being the better side up to that point.

To make matters worse Winston Reid is unavailable for this game through suspension after being dismissed in stoppage time last weekend.

Slaven Bilic is already without full-backs Arthur Masuaku and Sam Byram. A thigh injury should rule Gokhan Tore out whilst Andy Carroll is constantly injured.

Predicted West Ham Starting Lineup (3-4-2-1): Randolph; Kouyate, Collins, Ogbonna; Antonio, Lanzini, Obiang, Cresswell; Ayew, Payet; Sakho

Manchester United vs West Ham Key Stats

6 - Michail Antonio's last six Premier League goals have all been headers.

20 - Manchester United have won 20 of their last 23 league games versus West Ham at Old Trafford (D1, L2).

203 - Manchester United have fired 203 efforts on goal so far this season - 80 more than they had this time last season under Louis van Gaal.

Manchester United vs West Ham Prediction

Both of these teams have made a disappointing start to their 2016-17 campaign and despite playing a midweek fixture too, Manchester United should be relieved that it's a third successive home tie.

Jose Mourinho and Slaven Bilic are both limited with options in defence due to absentees but we think this favours Manchester United more as they have more depth. Winston Reid is a big loss for the Hammers. As a result you may want to check out the odds on this game and other Premier League matches for betting opportunities this weekend.

United have dominated their last three home league games and you'd imagine if they continue to do so they will start winning eventually. Eventually could be as early as Sunday.
