being sold the goose that laid the golden egg is what we are meant to believe...moving to the world class stadium where you can buy a ticket for a seat that does not exist !with a squad that once the surface is scratched you find underneath its not gold but plastic.
now before last season started we all just wanted to survive in the prem but we did more than that we played well and but for some dodgy ref decisions could of been even better..the signings we got in payet/lanzini/Antonio transformed our squad we scored goals through out the team and everything was rosy and would only get better with the move to the "iconic world class facilities that is the London stadium" better players would want to come to us etc etc.....now look at us in this big bowl of a stadium fifty thousand plus season ticket holders and yet we still shop at lidl's when we should be trying harrods.....we got lucky with our transfers last year but this year no such luck nordveit/tore/calleri the white carlton cole! I am afraid shopping in the basement bargain bin does not always work and so they splash out on Ayew who we could of had for nothing last time around again is uninspiring...so after last nights inept display it appears we are going to splash the cash on ZAZA(gabor) to try and appease what are already many disgruntled fans.....now if you are going to talk the talk about being a big club and winning the league unlike the freak win by Leicester last season you cannot do it on the cheap..history has shown spend big better chance of winning big...if the club truly want to be seen as a power in English football we have to put the days of being little old west ham behind us and start acting like a big club who when top players get injured you have proper replacements waiting not cheap knock offs.
Completely humiliating. I just cant believe it ,west ham have to make up their minds ,Europian football or not , when you play 1 or 2 shite players it has an effect on the rest of the team. Tore and Norvette their no more top class players than i am ,the former complete tosh the latter tries his best but to lightwait ,why wasn't Flech on from the start ?this is guna have a terrible effect for the game on Sunday ,finally having to bring on Collins as C F was a farce
From the moment I saw the team sheet tonights result I felt was inevitable playing one man upfront at home how truly pathetic is that.....the only player I felt who stood out and played well was young Fletcher when he came on he looked lively took players on unlucky with his strike it came of the keepers legs but this result belongs totally with the tactics from the start...Bilic has to take the blame for that dreadful performance......how slow were we in that first half it was like over 50's walking football again tore and Antonio being played on the wrong flanks but Tore was so so poor yet again.....outswinging corners I hate just count how many lead to a goal when you watch any matches this season.....hardly any....Valencia came on at start of the second half and Bilic actually playing two upfront gosh that took a whole half to work out...but hey we all no bringing Valencia on meant we were still only going to have one upfront!!! yes we are missing a helluva lot of first team players but come on this team are struggling badly in the Romania first division lost by 5 goals at the weekend and yet they come and turn us over with one attack.....we got what we deserved and our players now have no excuses as to being tired because its back to the usual west ham wewill win one game in theeflcup get knocked out have a few good wins before xmas get knocked out early in the f.a. cup then we will have a few more wins and talk about rebuilding for next season lol.........pissed off with the attitude from the coaching to the players tonight simply put tore not good enough Valencia not good enough we should be winning a game like this but hey whats the matter only citeh away on sunday jeeez massacre on the cards now.
West Ham Utd: Randolph, Byram, Ried, Ogbonna, Burke, Nordtveit, Tore, Obiang, Kouyate, Antonio, Calleri, SUBS: Adrian, Collins, Oxford, Browne, Diangana, Valencia, Fletcher
Astra Giurgiu: Lung, Alves, Fabricio, Seto, Alibec, Morais, Lovin, Niculae, Sapunaru, Ionita, Teixeira, SUBS: Gavrilas, Raileanu, Florea, Moise, Oros, Stan, Balaure
now that's just crazy.....as always is they are not prepared to let him go until a replacement is bought....well I am sorry but this mans had chances galore and he is not good enough....get rid and use young fletcher or even Martinez from the bench and lets see what calleri is like leading the line.....Valencia should not be anywhere near the first team.
Ie the match on tv tonight ?
rumours are both lanzini and payet could be available for the citeh match this weekend should we pick them? obviously fully fit its a yes but coming back from injury in such a tough match should we leave them out and try and stifle citeh and get a 0-0 and hope the international break which follows sees them fully recovered and chomping at the bit for there first league appearance at the new ground against Watford?
Just when Hammers fans thought they had seen it all with regards to players at the club dropping like flies, news arrives not only of David Sullivan being hospitalised but also that of David Gold having to visit the Lister Hospital!
David Sullivan has undergone heart surgery and currently remains in hospital, he previously underwent a quadruple heart bypass surgery in 1994. . David Sullivan junior tweeted "Dad's just had heart surgery woke up from operation and is straight back on the phone to sign more players ,THE CHAMP! What a man" Mr Sullivan is expected to make a full recovery, but has been advised to 'take it easy', some hope!
As if news of one co-owner needing Hospital treatment wasn't bad enough, news that fellow co-owner David Gold's car with it's distinct number plate, has been seen parked up outside the prestigious Lister Hospital in Westminster. Although the Lister do not give out specific information about their clients, their equivalent of doris the teal lady was able to confirm that appointments had been attended by a member of the Gold family but would not exactly confirm their specific identity.
There have been recent misguided and scurrilous reports that David Sullivan and David Gold are looking to make a 'fast buck' by selling the club, nothing can be further from the truth! But if there were fans who doubted the two David's commitment to the club they should look no further, because here are two examples of people who WILL go the extra mile for the club they live and breathe. - Ef
