Divock Origi was a practical and attainable transfer target in the January window, when all the 'lunar' bids had been tried and failed why on earth did Hammers not 'lump on' Origi? He was available and accessable so what went wrong? Did the club REALLY think they could get the Darwin Nunez deal over the line from across the other side of the World, on deadline day, in the MIDDLE of the South American World Cup qualifiers?

Supporters hoping for a fanfare to herald in a new era at West Ham following the influx of Daniel Kretinsky's investment, will be sorely disappointed in the way that the January transfer window has panned out, failing to yield even ONE player! Even the French Press have given up on West Ham's ability to close deals, they recognise plenty of 'posturing' from the club, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, they also recognise it's inability to follow up the talk, with the walk.
