27 year old Paul Onuachu is currently the Belgian Pro League Player of the Year, rumours were rife following his omission from the match day squad against KV Oostende on July the 30th that he was on his way out of the club, with West Ham United being ONE of his preferred destinations.

Onuachu had been criticised for playing at a level below what people were used to seeing in his first two matches of the season against Club Brugge and Standard Liege, but scored against Shakhtar Donetsk in Genk's third game of the season.

Quite why a club such as West Ham even countenances deals for players with horrendous injury records is beyond us, so news that there is 'interest' in signing Liverpool's perennially injured midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is baffling. The £35 Million player missed the majority of last season with an injury, as he did on his previous two seasons.
