Snodgrass Chooses Hammers Despite Better Offer From Boro

West Ham United have completed the signing of Robert Snodgrass from Barclays Premier League strugglers Hull City, the attacking midfielder will arrive at the London Stadium for an initial £7 Million fee, potentially rising to £10 Million with add ons. The Scotland international passed his medical and agreed personal terms with the Irons on Friday, and has now become the club's second major signing of the January transfer window following the arrival of Jose Fonte from Southampton.

West Ham United appear to have stolen a march on fellow Barclays Premier League club Burnley by matching their bid for Hull City's top scorer Robert Snodgrass, Burnley had an offer accepted on Wednesday and, while both are believed to be in the region of £10 million, West Ham is believed to be the preferred destination for the player who has told friends and family how much he is looking forward to playing at The London Stadium.

Palace To Make Bid For Hammers Keeper

Crystal Palace manager Sam Allardyce has made enquiries about taking West Ham United's current second choice goal keeper, Adrian Saint Miguel, on loan until the end of the season. Allardyce, who bought Adrian to West Ham while he was manager, is keen to shore up his leaky defence and sees the Spain reserve goalkeeper as a good start in his campaign to restore strength at the back.
