So our last season at "The Old Lady" is almost upon us so it got me wondering... I posted this question on my West Ham facebook page (The Anglo-Scottish Hammers, follow West Ham) and await the replies so here goes, at the seasons end say Mssrs Sullivan and Gold decided to auction parts of the Boleyn and funds go to the BM fund what would you bid for? maybe if you are a season tkt holder you could purchase your seat or possibly a piece of turf, so ladies and gents what about you (personally of poss I would buy a seat to put in the garden...

the Bobby Moore sign at the back of the stand, and like moore6 a square foot of the blessed turf , in fact i reckon they would make a fortune for the fund if they auctioned, depending on the demand , 6 to 12 " sods

exactly 25 yards out from the goal at the Sir Trevor Brooking end when I executed a sublime chip over the keeper and just under the bar. Not sure if I have ever mentioned this but Tony Gale told me it was the best he had seen at Upton Park so I will gladly take his word lol

I remember that goal ANTKB i was there,it was the goal that kept us up that season, but i still think your career best has to be the carbon copy goal of Ibrahimovic v england that took us to wembley in the dying seconds of time added on, awesome vision mate if you could bottle up the atmosphere that day i'd have a bid on that!;))

I'm pretty boring, I too would have a turf, implant it in the garden so there would be a lawn that was forever Boleyn.

yer i really hope they do it now, in fact im going to write to them and ask them , just wondering depending on the size of the pitch how many say 10" squares they'd get , i would put it straight in the middle of my beautiful manicured lawn with a chain around it and a tiny replica of upper's , people will come from mile's around , in fact from other country's to pay homage at burkie's shrine , i wouldn't charge that much either and i'd include in the entrance price a cup of tea ( p g tips mind you, no mucking about with tesco's own brand ) and a custard cream , they all walk anti-clockwise around it chanting things like , in prayer mode " and on the last day uppers will rise again , one maybe two office blocks , the blind shall see , us winning the European cup and every tear shall be wiped away when the board confirm Carlton wont be making a comeback" yep i can see a nice little earner in this . lol

Id also put a little fence round the hallowed turf that was implanted in my lawn to stop our beloved dog from doing a "richard" on it.....;)

From the dressing room. Don't think they have lockers but name signs for each player above the kit where it hangs. Of course I'd be looking for the di canios, brookings, martins, peters, Devonshire, etc from my era for being An uptown park regular as a kid.
