It was a fantastic occasion to be at the LS on Saturday to see a very emotional Billy Bonds officially open the main stand in his name, very worthy recipient of this honour I think we all agree.
This leaves the final stand to be named or rather, renamed. If so, who should get the final honour?
Now I know it will provoke a number of you wags with suggestions with the likes of Joey Beauchamp, Boogers, Alan McKnight etc etc. But honestly who should get the honour or what should be honoured?
Some thoughts are The Boleyn Stand, The 66 Stand, Greenwood Lyle, Noble etc etc but for me its plain Sir Geoff Hurst, second all time leading goal scorer and hat trick in a World Cup final.
Nev, would make a good opinion pole?
No brainer
Mabel Arnold stand

Not much of a fan though mate is he!! Even though I still need a bit more convincing I certainly wouldn't start following another club
I sympathise with the guy 65,
I sympathise with the guy 65, and for all my support of the LS it still feels hard on those entrenched with the old ways. It was more than just football it was a way of life. But this guy has to accept its gone, right or wrong, and time to move on with other fellow Hammers. The family I believe is still there it just moved down the road from a terrace house to a detached because the family got bigger. Keep the faith buddy, it will improve!
Good post Dartford..
You know I feel very much like the fan mentioned,I've been really disappointed with the match day experience especially the last game v the hated spuds...but it's probably taken me this amount of time to accept the boleyn has gone forever....even if I don't go much in the future westham will always be my club
