West Ham VS Watford

Well, folks, here it comes. It's the sort of match you expect to lose: lot's of injuries, club in turmoil, Watford having just beaten Chelski, match against a relegation rival, -- it has "wheels come off" written all over it. But for my money this is just the kind of fixture that West Ham typically, surprisingly, miraculously win. So often I have seen West Ham fall into the black hole of wasted opportunity only to emerge, like Kilroy, peeping above the rim of the other side. I'm going for a 1-0 win this time. Am I delusional????

Well ashes I agree with everything you say in your post. Apart from the final sentence. I've lost any sense of hope. Both Antonio and arnie trained this week so could be involved if they play I agree with you if not then a nil nil is the most I hope for. I'd be far more confident if we performed more consistently defensively. But we don't.

Personally I'd re- instate rice in midfield in obiang said role and play winston. We have gone from needing another defensive midfielder in the window to not actually playing one there!

Personally if we are not safe by the end of March things are gonna get really sticky. Everyone around us are picking up points at around the same rate we are. For me that implies we may have to get 40 plus to be safe. After March fixtures get a lot tougher, Luckily we have 30, I'd feel so much happier if more teams were on a bad run down there.
