With the focus rightly on Angleterre what's everyone's thoughts on other nations up and coming or established stars?
For me Mbappe for France has been great as has Cavani for Uruguay. 2 players that would cause serious issues for us should we make it to the final. Along with Brazil v Belgium, the France v Uraguay are quarterfinal games I'm looking forward to.
well i think
Uruguay will lose to France if Cavani does not play and that looks very likely take the drama queen out of Brazil(you no who I mean)and I reckon Belgium have more than enough about them to win that and I do expect Russia to beat Croatia as I think there players will crumble under the huge support for the host nation.
And the vein in the forehead
And the vein in the forehead pumping like mad
Belgium v England Final
it could happen
If Ali and sterling carry on
If Ali and sterling carry on performing poorly then I'd say Croatia will beat us in the semi.

Here's a question I'm mulling over while watching Brazil, Belgium. Is Neymar the real deal? By that I mean can he truly contest messi or ronaldo for the best player in the world? Any ones thoughts? For me I'd say there are plenty of players better than him. I just think as he is Brazil's big name people give him the leeway he doesn't deserve.
He's got enough talent.
If only he could knuckle down and stick to using it. His simulations are tiring and ridiculous; in the end he was hoist on his own petard. Messi and Ronaldo don't play at that sort of thing, they pursue the highest level of playing ability across many years. Neymar isn't in their league. Lukaku may be.
Whilst I largely agree with
Whilst I largely agree with you ashes, I can't help thinking playing in France isnt doing him any favours. Maybe the Madrid and Barcelona expect more professionalism than Neymar is willing to give.
