I don't like Spurs, and probably have a disproportionate dislike for all things Tottenham, but I would appeal to anyone who knows a Spuds fan or if any read this: Would you please put your ear to the ground and help find this low life!

A 100-year-old woman was mugged outside her home after returning from a prayer meeting.
The centenarian was pushed to the ground by a man who stole her handbag, which contained between £250 and £300.
She had confronted the suspect outside the property in Sherboro Road, Tottenham when he claimed to be there to do electrical work.
Her grandson, who was at her home when the robbery happened on 23 August, chased the man but he escaped.
'Distressed and shaken'
The victim was taken to hospital but did not suffer a serious injury.
Det Ch Insp Luke Marks said the victim was "extremely distressed and shaken". He added: "This was a despicable attack on a very elderly lady who lived independently and is now fearful to return home.
"At 100 years old she had the sense and foresight to dismiss the suspect when he tried to con her into unnecessary electrical work but he then decided to mug her instead."

Imagine if this had been your mother/grandmother/aunt or just a neighbour?

I was hoping this was gonna be a bad joke. People who target the elderly like that should be strung up and lashed every single day for the rest of their lives!

I did give chase and caught someone fleeing from my newly bought house in Newtown, Wales where I was living at the time back in '91. I heard tea-chests being moved about and the familiar sound of my front door keys being dropped on the floor so ran downstairs to see a person disappearing out the front door. I chased the twat to a car park where he was franticly trying to start his car. I opened the car door, angrily grabbed his wind pipe and started belting him with the other fist. He was screaming so badly that I let go of the wind pipe and took my house keys from his dashboard giving him another couple of hard slaps for good measure. The local coppers down at the station said I was mad to confront this person and that a few of them had come down from Liverpool on a nicking spree. We also got robbed here in Andover five or six years ago. They robbed the house then nicked the wife's estate car and robbed a few more houses in the area, loading her car with the 'stolen items'. We all slept through it. They were from Reading. The coppers told us that they will have a local person with a notepad and pen, to break into your house, log down how he got in, draw a quick floor plan of the downstairs, labelling everything worth nicking in each room. This lowlife is not to touch a thing and leave everything as it was. He then submits his 'artwork' to the gang intending to come down, making it easy for them.
