One man cannot make a team no matter how special he is and so like many who feared a battering after hearing he was out of the bindippers game the team managed quite well without him and although we did not win we did alright it actually showed how much we missed having a proper STRIKER who surely would of buried at least one of our chances..by not being there and so not the focus for the whole side we were not overrun and we aquitted ourselves quite well.
Will he stay or will he go? like yourselves i do not have a clue and if he looks at Grealish and just how few games he has played this season for Citeh maybe he will think nope i will give it another year but at the end of the day why worry our Massive club will still be there and new heroes will come to the fore but it is a TEAM sport not a one man band.

Correct that one man doesn't make a team but in Dec's case I really feel he is world class and will be a loss. The pleasing thing for me yesterday was a much improved performance from Soucek, clearly took more responsibility in the absence of Dec. And, with a real striker the bindippers would have been in trouble.
I dont think Sqeelish will give a dam about appearances when he looks at his medals at the end of the season and a sure shoe in for all future England squads just by being with the champions.
Still believe that Decs
will wait to make a decision until the last week of the transfer window to see if they do actually improve the team or not same as Bowen. If the stuff about then he is gone and let’s face it we have to spend big to cover the players that are out of contract plus improve the team.
It’s encouraging but
Rice is one of the best in the world in his position so losing him would have a massive negative impact. Players like him are very rare and we need to keep him as long as possible, but I think he’s already making noises towards the exit door of late. If only we could match his ambitions of playing Champions League football? But then there’s another problem, as he said he wants to win trophies so not happening here unfortunately with such a lack of depth in quality players.
