Official Announcement Expected Soon

A friend of the site who works for TNT, (formerly BT Sport) has confirmed to us that there has been a flurry of activity in West Ham's press and PR offices at the Stratford stadium where TNT are also based.

News leaked by Fabrizio Romano appeared to take the PR machine of balance, with the general assumption being that an announcement was due to be made on Friday ahead of this week's final home game against Luton on Saturday.

Of course originally Moyes' departure had been planned for the closed season, however results have been so atrocious that they have hastened the plans for his departure. Essentially the club was in a no-win situation and will come under considerable criticism for the way they have handled the entire affair.

David Moyes 'going public' regarding the supposed contract offer he had on the table didn't help matters and put a few noses out of joint, on reflection it was the act of a man who knew his time was up but refused to acknowledge the reality.

As we have mentioned before, it is a pity that things have come to this. Moyes deserves great praise for what he has achieved during both his spells at West Ham, he certainly doesn't deserve some of the keyboard warrior attacks he has had to endure of late, but that is the modern game!

Events seem to have passed Moyes by and perhaps ploying his trade in pastures new is just what he need to reinvigorate himself, so thank you Mr Moyes and let's all begin a new chapter! - LN

Expect talkshite and sky etc to get him to do an interview "expose" on West Ham and his tenure here and i have a feeling it will not be pretty.

He won a trophy yes but the football served up was driving fans away and i among many were not even moved by the stuffing we got yesterday as we all expected it.

So lets draw a line under this chapter in the clubs history and be positive with the new man coming in...he may not be some peoples choice but lets give it a go it cannot be as bad as what has been going on.

Well I for one won't be waving him off into the sunset..But I will be cheering Moyes off as long as he takes the cart horse that is Zouma with him.

What a fakkkin double act they were. I only hope Loopyjuice gets Kilman in from Wolves and installs him as leader of the defence and Captain!!!

Oi big boy, what's your name?

When the new manager takes over there are so many out of contract plus the others like cornet, ings, even Zouma and antonio, need shifting,I would bring back Kehrer from loan bring in some of our exciting young youths needs young blood otherwise what's the point of having a academy of exciting prospects and are not given a chance plenty of other clubs do otherwise it gives out the wrong message to the youth to go elsewhere we keep saying about academy players how well they are doing but nothing ever happens with them here.

Look at the ones we were all screaming to be given a chance (me included). Ashby, Diangana, Burke, Perkins, Longelo, Baptiste. They've really set the world on fire haven't they. Even Mubama and Johnson haven't exactly got the adrenaline flowing have they?

Come on Deluded, the last 2 were never given a chance, I would though agree with you on Mumama ,he was totally inept at Moyesball.

Its true Burkie but the point DH was making is correct. These so called big potentials have been proven to be well at best average. The great Sonny Perkins, a wonder striker let go to Leeds who sent him out to Oxford United, played six times as he had "attitude" problems. I heard Pakistan wanted him in the national team... I think Moyes etc got that one right!

The step up to the Premier League is huge, very few kids make it, the ones that do are truly class because the now global competition makes it VERY difficult.

Everyone always seems to think we've got a crop of super young guns ala fergies. Don't see it myself. Throw them in and get relegated most likely.

Well if you dont give them a go,you will never know, and we wont ever find a jewel in the crown....On your note then, whats the point of the academy, might aswell do away with it.

Anyone looking at tv,and listening to the phone it's, Jaysus ,we are really being put through the ringer, Sky , MOTD, talkshite ,their all at it ,treachery is being mentioned, "how could they treat Moyes like this " ,it like a story about an abandoned puppy left to fend for its self on a freezing cold night .
That lot never had much time for us but now it's like we're public enemy no 1, maybe that's the reason England haven't won anything in nearly 60 years if this is the way they think ,Moyes seems to be the arch angel of best loved football manager s ,they'll hate us more than ever now ,oh well ,you win some and you loose some .

considerable criticism for the way they have handled the entire affair, is water off a duck's back to Sully and her. It's how they handle everything and lie Moyes are too stubborn to change their ways. They see it partially works and that's good enough for them with the odd sprinkling of positivity

I think he was promised the AC Milan job and not to take other offers? Could be wrong.
