It's Monday night. I must be off to the chip shop (West Green) Bikey. Sorry I thought it was 1978 there again for the minute.

But seriously Sportsfans. A new kick off time. Under the lights at St James's Park. Surrounded by 50+ thousand Geordie, neanderthal maniacs.

What could possibly go wrong...??!!!!

Better fire up the donkey El Loppo!!!! - You're arse is heading into the Spanish sunset doulbe rapid!!

Deluded, I'd have started Ings also. Sharper at present. Antonio bulldozing up front on his own. Newcastle will have expected that. El Loppo tactical genius. Did you hear his pre match interview? Might aswell been in Chinese. What chance have the players got? Soler apart!

But both Ings or Ants aren't 90 minute players. And in fairness, Loopy hasn't had a fully fit Fullkrug

The players seem to be up for it and playing well but the gaps are still there......Howe to his defenders Soucek is the man to watch if West Ham get a corner and nope they leave him alone and he does what he does.

Performance wise we have done well so far but Antonio is already running out of steam and we have to stop farting around with the ball in our box or it will come back to bite us.

I am seeing a confidence, a swagger even, that hasn’t been there all season. Two up and pushing for the third. Now let’s not do anything silly and let them back into the game.

at last played as a team worked hard for each other that's what we needed well done west ham and what a player Wan-Bissaka is and a balanced formation as well up the hammers a good 3 points

Kept it simple every player did there role very well and all were playing for each other no stupid sitting deep and no kamikaze front play leaving ourselves open so yes all in all aour best display of the season

I know I'll be forgiven if I sound a note of caution ,this performance was exceptional and every player deserves high praise, but west ham are west ham,I'm goin to wait till Saturday night at arownd 7 pm before getting to exited, but one things for sure ,if the gooners were watching that game tonight ,they won't be looking forward to Saturdays visit to the Queen Elizabeth 11 stadium .that's for sure.

Burkie 1

And you are right Burkie not to get carried away by one performance and in showing what they can do the players have to show it was not a flash in the pan and as big a game as it is on Saturday we have to play with the same passion as last night after all the Gooners lost at Newcastle so lets play without fear yes respect the opposition but play the game like yesterday and we have a good chance.

Fabianski should be the first choice keeper. Played with confidence and made that great save after Todibo's mistake in the box. Fabs played with real confidence and deserved a clean sheet. Antonio started slow but put in a great shift and made himself a nuisance to the Newcastle defenders. Paqueta and Soler had a chemistry in the midfield, but Bowen and Summerville always looked dangerous on counter attacks. Give the defenders credit when Newcastle did not even have a shot on target in the second half. Four players were Man of The Match, Aaron V-B, Bowen, Fabianski and Paqueta.....his best performance of the Season. Loved the energy of the players today as they did not allow Newcastle to delve on the ball. Need to carry this energy against the Gunners on Saturday!!
