Suddenly Renewing Your Season Ticket Wasn't Such A Bad Idea
Many West Ham fans were dubious about renewing their season tickets following the debacle of last season, everything that could go wrong did and a few more things that shouldn't have did! Rubbish performances, dodgy stadium and a seemingly inept greedy board. Fast forward to now and you could be in a paralell universe, the much maligned board, particularly majority share holder David Sullivan, have taken a back seat when it comes to recruitment and left the business to professionals, moreover they have to the most part managed to keep themselves out of the media ahead of what have been some spectacular signings, of course Mr Sullivan had to blot his copybook, much to the annoyance of the 'Huse', by going main stream to say further signings were on their way just as the Felipe Anderson saga is about to reach a positive conclusion.
Whether by fan protest, survival instinct, just good business sense or maybe even a genuine love for the club, the pantomine villains that are the club's hierarchy are finally beginning to make good the promises made to fans ahead of moving from the much beloved Boleyn Ground to the much hated London Stadium, finally the club are trying to do things the right way and not on the cheap as they have perpetually done in the past. We have tried to cover this issue before by covering the 'pay day loan' issue the club had to cope with, but as we have mentioned, this season the gloves are off to a certain extent.
