Just going through our team and looking at the players I have come up with a few that should definitely be off the books. For me there are a few that we need to keep and bring in better quality to build a good team around.
Goal keepers, the rumour is that Adrian is on his way out so that leaves Randolph and Speigal. I don't know what Speigal is like but we need a keeper as Randolph has proved he is only a bench player.
Defenders, Arbeloa is shit, Byram is just ok and the jury is still out on Fonte. Cresswell has had his problems this season and I am wondering if being picked for England and the rumours that pool where interested have turned his head but Masuaka has not been to bad so far. As for the rest keepers and give Collins another year, good bench player.
Midfield, gone are Nordviet and Tore and I know this is hard but Noble on the bench, great club man and plenty of passion but slowing down and prone to yellow cards. Snodgrass with the right midfielders around him will come good and shit we miss Obiang, and Fegouli is a bench player, when he comes on he grafts unlike a few that I have mentioned.
Strikers, I don't care what Bilic says I don't think Calleri is good enough and I think Sakho will be gone, as for Andy, on his day he is unplayable but keeping him on the field is the problem. If the Chinese come in with a big offer I would take it and bring in a couple of strikers that could stay injury free for at least a season. We have some good young players coming through but as I said on another post why lend them out to sit on someone else's bench when we can put them on ours and give them playing time to build up their confidence and enthusiasm when needed.
So for me we need a bloody good shot stopper, at least one or two right side defenders, another decent midfielder and at least two strikers in the summer. Let's hope the Davids have the balls to go get them and not loans but buy a bit of qualit. Those are just my views so be interested what your views are gents.

Well it may be because of the season we are having but todays game at sunderland is a banana skin and I think we will tread on it...sunderlands cause is a lost one and there players low on confidence but i'm afraid that we will just try some average attempt at keep ball which will not work sunderland will be up and at us for the first 20mins or so and in that time I have no faith in the defence to keep them out and I see us getting beaten 2 maybe 3 goals to1....my heart says it wont happen but on this seasons evidence I lack faith in the way we have been coached the way the players have performed and total lack of fight in the team...I just hope I am eating a large plate of humble pie this evening and I am proved very very wrong..

Assuming Carroll is still not fit to start, nor Sakho, how would you set up for Sunderland. For me: Adrian, Cresswell (not 100%), Collins, Fonte, Masuaku, Feghouli, Kouyate, Snodgrass, Lanzini, Fernandes and ... ????

Well that's the breaking news and whilst its still to be found out who has done this it was really only a matter of time before this kind of thing happened at a major football event...fortunately the player hurt in the explosion on the Dortmund club coach has as is being reported minor injuries but obviously will be in shock.....shocking as it is these kind of events will not stop people going to see the match when its rescheduled of course you will be more wary but by standing together you will show these cowards that decent law abiding citizens will not be cowed.
