We know it is pantomime season, but a document we received from a member of staff at West Ham's London Stadium surely takes the biscuit! Essentially stewards are being warned that Burnley and West Ham supporters may well be wearing the same colours, and that there may be some confusion with regards to crowd separation....it's indeed fortunate that Aston Villa are currently languishing in the Championship otherwise there could be confusion twice per season!

Slaven Bilic hopes the return of Andy Carroll can revitalise West Ham’s attacking play by rediscovering the power that put Arsenal to the sword last season
Carroll has been sidelined for three months with a knee injury, in which time West Ham have found themselves battling at the bottom of the league table at least partly because of the failure of their strike force to find the back of the net. Diafra Sakho scored the first league goal by a West Ham striker last week against Manchester United

Dimitri Payet’s show stealing performances at Euro 2016, coupled with him being one of last season’s Premier League surprise packages, has helped the West Ham midfielder finish 14th in Goal.com’s annual Goal 50 list, which ranks the best players in the world. Payet’s position is the highest achieved by a West Ham player in the history of the Goal 50. The top spot of this year’s Goal 50 has been taken by Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo, with Barcelona’s Luis Suarez finishing second and Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Greizemann coming in third.
