Go back a year we were revelling in the mess that the spuds were under Nuno Espírito Santo they showed him the door because they were like we are now an embarrassment and becoming a laughing stock....they got Conte in and not looked back since.....We need to get rid of Moyes this has been going on to long and whilst i do not think Warburton would be a long term replacement he would make a good caretaker while better candidates are interviewed.

But Contes passion you have to admire, compare it to dithering Dave.Warburton aided by chicken kev would do for me at the moment, kick the overpaid faves into gear

They won’t make a change now with the transfer window shutting in 2 weeks. I think Moyes is now a victim of his own success, the West Ham squad isn’t a top 6/7 squad but he’s got them there 2 seasons in a row, for me that’s been quite an achievement. To make the next step West Ham need a change of ownership, the transfer window has been poor, I understand that you can’t expect players playing for CL clubs to come but I think to make West Ham a top 4/6 side they need to stop the second hand car salesman routine and pay clubs and players what they would want to come to West Ham, that would also entice a top manager.
Warburton would be a huge step backwards, he’s done nothing in the top tier of football.

Agree Dave but I honestly believe that with our current owners we're stuck in this cycle of negativity. They are a cancer slowly killing us and whilst Moyes' chemo has worked for a couple of years, it's looking like the disease is coming back to the fore. It has been the most un-inspiring ownership story in the history if football.

Warburton has never managed in the top tier unless you're counting Scottish Football in that bracket. Saw a lot of Warburton in his stint at Brentford and I was pretty impressed. I wouldn't say no to him myself. Maybe have DiCanio as assistant, that would spice thigs up a bit

Well Rangers are in a 2 horse race for most seasons so I’m not sure how success is gauged in Scottish football but that’s not trying to belittle what he did, just saying there’s a 50/50 chance of winning that league.
Personally I would not want Di Canio, the fella was a great player but that’s where his career ends for me.

Agree m2c, I have no time for these owners, I understand that the books need to be balanced but they've taken so much from the club, don’t trust them at all, and it’s why I’ll never give them any of my money to go and see West Ham.

Just googled it Burkie and it says 40 million pounds, I’m sure at the time the company that bought it had links to David Gold or his family, something like that, must be something dodgy because it’s says there are 850 homes to be built there.
