So who are they going to be? Trott, Cresswell Rice Antonio, Bowen, Johnson, Downes, (Dawson, Coventry? Ashby all Leaving) also got Randolph which makes up the 8 if Coventry, Ashby, and Dawson are sold.
Foreign players, Fabianski, Coufal Zouma, Cornet,Emerson Palmieri,Paqueta,Kehrer,Fornals,Aguerd, Areola, Benrama, Soucek. Ogbonna, Hegyi, Ekwa, Swyer, and finally Lanzini that makes so that makes 26 players. So who's going out of the squad?
It can't be Randolph because he is Homegrown part of the 8, talk of Lanzini going but supposed to be being replaced by Hans Vanaken but there's no room at the inn- might be Hegyi going shame really as he looks promising but I suppose you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet so I think it will be one of the 3 youngsters going out on loan Ekwa, Swyer or Heygi or keep one of them in the Under 23s. Nice head ache to have, but not a lot of incentive for our academy players.

Pacman Has Arrived In Time For Tott!

West Ham have confirmed the "club record signing" of Brazil midfielder Lucas Paqueta from Lyon on a five year contract. The 25 year old Brazilian is expected to be part of the National squad at this year's World Cup.

The initial £36.5 Million deal for Paqueta could rise to more than £50 Million with add-ons, potentially £5 Million more the £45 Million paid for striker Sebastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2019. Paqueta joined Lyon for €20 Million (£17m) in 2020 after 18 months at AC Milan.

"I hope it's the beginning of an enjoyable journey," Paqueta told West Ham's official website after he had completed his medical and signed on the dotted line.

Paqueta scored nine goals and contributed six assists in 35 Ligue 1 appearances last season will technically be available to face Spurs on thursday evening, however, David Moyes added: "Whilst he will need time to adapt, we're excited about adding another proven international to our squad."

So the best fans can expect is a brief cameo appearance. Could be worse!- Ed

And in true West Ham style the club rip the arse out of each signing. If he is not available for Tottenham it's a disgrace. Apparently the medical is complete but needs to be registered by midday tomorrow. Probably blame it on Bank Holiday.

Moyes brave enough to drop Bowen?

Of course he is but will he do it? somethings not right at the moment with Bowen and i think giving him a break even though its the spuds next would be a good thing all round.Play the four at the back keep Soucek and Rice as the barrier in front of those and then to tinker a little bit play Antonio wide right Cornet wide left with Benni behind Scamacca i think we would look much better lining up like that.Watching how the spuds pack there defence and hit on the break i think this line up would nullify that threat and give us the width needed to stretch for me though unbeaten is a very average group of defenders Dier Jeez and that Emerson Royale is rubbish so hopefully Moyes is not to cautious because as a crowd the players are going to be pumped with the atmosphere and no doubt will i hope invigorate us and again Moyes you got off lightly playing Citeh because of your fears of what they could do well you have been here long enough now to understand that kind of tactic and display against that mob will not be acceptable in any way shape or form.COYI

Oh yes the Alpacca you are saying why is he not in your starting line up well for me if/when he has signed i think it would be the wrong match to start him and Moyes does like a bedding in process doesn't he so thats why i expect him on the bench Wednesday evening.

Fancy us for the Conference

I think we are by far the strongest team in this Cup. Would not even be phased by the teams which join the competition from the Europa League. Hopefully a few more quality additions will further strengthen us. The only team I fear is ourselves.
