So I've been playing this a bit since i managed to rip a large piece of skin off my forearm and am taking it a little easy. its a bit of a strain on the stitches at times but i did manage to get Luton promoted twice but then got bored and started over with Colchester. Anyone else into the game? if so do you always go west ham? for some reason i never enjoy the hammers, always prefer something neutral. i think Bilic should give the game a go, might learn something tactics wise…lol.

Kouyate Injury Update

According to Slaven, he will miss the start of the season, but does not need surgery. Apparently it was a freak training injury, non-contact. These things always worry me -- when a player goes down without any contact, it's often something pretty bad. The worst case in recent memory was Jack Collison; poor lad was never the same after and his promising career was cut way too short. Here's wishing Kouyate well and hope he makes a complete recovery. Oh, and don't let him get anywhere NEAR any Senegalese massage physiotherapists!!!!

Hernandez Marko's Home Is Where The Hart Is!

The impending arrival of Javier Hernandez because West Ham are willing to trigger the £13m escape clause for the 29 year old Mexico international goal machine, will swiftly follow the one year loan deal for Manchester City and England goalkeeper Joe Hart and the club agreeing to pay Stoke £24 million for attacking winger Marko Arnautovic. Hernandez joined Bayer Leverkusen from Manchester United in 2015 and has since scored 28 goals in 45 League games. He also became Mexico’s all time leading scorer after collecting his 47th goal from 95 internationals in a match against Croatia in May.
Slaven Bilic has been anxious to add pace and strike power to his squad, something Hernandez and Austria international Arnautovic can most definitely provide. The price for Arnautovic is a record for West Ham United to pay, some might think he is over priced, but compared to Snodgrass at £10 Million he looks like a bargain, such is the extent of the crazy transfer market! Hernandez's wages of around £140,000 per week could also be described as excessive, but those costs are somewhat offset due to the relatively low purchase price.
Joe Hart has joined up with the rest of the West Ham squad in Austria on Tuesday night, the club seeming to be the only route that he has back in to the Premier League. His arrival will mean "goodbyeski" for one or both of West Ham’s goalkeeping pair, Spaniard Adrian or Republic of Ireland international Darren Randolph. The former who particularly was gnarled by co-owner David Sullivan's comment that Joe Hart was the best goal keeper he had ever worked with, the latter knowing the writing is on the wall in the run up to the World Cup. The exact details of the Hart deal are vague, but you can betway your house that there IS an option to retain him on a permanent basis should things work out well.
Hart himself has said he is delighted to be back in England, “It’s important for me to play football and to get the opportunity to come here and play is absolutely awesome, to be playing in the Premier League for a big club like West Ham, I’m really looking forward to the season.” Unfortunately he then blotted his copy book by saying he had always loved West Ham and it's supporters, blah blah footballer's blah!
Anyway, the board seem to have responded in the best possible way to the criticism they faced following last year's transfer debacle buy putting there money where their mouths are, in addition there are tantalising further top quality players who may really actually arrive at the London Stadium. However some of the drift wood will have to be let go with Scottish International Robert Snodgrass top of the list, Pablo Zabaleta, not known for a forgiving demeanor when it comes to player's effort or lack of it, was noticeably aggrieved at 'Snoddy's' contribution during the friendly against Sturm Graz II. Snodgrass was a panic that just didn't work out, the club should just cut it's losses and get rid, but who would want to pay his wages? - Ed

With Arnautovic, Hernandez and Keita deals looking ok would this be enough to satisfy our fans. For me if we can pull these deals off I will be very excited and rate this as our best windows for years. It will show the other teams the intent by our board to lift the club to the next level but what will it mean to some of our youngsters and will it have an effect on the likes of Noble, Carroll, Sakho, Byram and Adrian and Randolph. There are rumours that Adrian might go with Newcastle looking at him and Randolph being looked at by other clubs but for me I would keep Adrian and maybe let Randolph go out on loan just in case Hart decides next season to go elsewhere. Of those that hopefully are coming in Hernandez is the one that excites me the most, he is proven in the premier league, can score goals and is exciting to watch. Be interested if these deals come off what everyone's starting line up would be against Manu in the first round.

So who goes Randolph Adriane or Baldy???

Who the Fricking hell is Baldy apparently he is our new striker from Lazio, some one else I've never heard of, hope he is as good as ZZZZZZZZZ za and lets hope he is up to Calleri's very high standard. I thought we were only going after proven premier strikers this season, please tell me that this transfer, is G&S having a Giraffe (laugh)
AS for Adriane and Randolph I cant split them I think that I would go fo Adriane but if he left for Palace and Premiership football I would 'nt blame him. I just hope Randolph dont end up at Newcastle and we end up losing the pair of them its World Cup year and this is not going to suit either of them, as Adriane has been capped recently for Spain and Randolph will want to keep his place if Ireland qualify. I wouldnt mind having a vote on this one Nev. Its Adriane for me, But leave Baldy out of it though!

fall on deaf ears i hope not

My fellow orgers can i just make an appeal for us all to get on...a bit of banter is fun but i have noticed a few seem to get spiteful on here and so it escalates....if you disagree with someone fine but please dont turn this forum which i have to admit since finding it i do like into a place where people get entrenched in tit for tat arguments...so if we can all just grow up a little bit and keep the banter going it will be great and for those of you whose views you oppose just accept we are all different and lets get on with supporting the greatest club in the world the W.I. errr i mean WHUFC C.O.Y.I.

hernandez close

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Tue, 18/07/2017 - 07:10

so it sounds like hernandez is close to signing. good news if true. a 13 mill release clause but cant see that as much of a prob as hes 30 now. hart and hernandez would signal quality improvements and id stop moaning about the board. think we should pass on arnautovic imo but if we stump up the cash then so be it. for me the key would be hernandez who fits the remit of a quality striker.
