Any Hammers fan who was at the Boleyn the evening Slaven Billic was presented to the crowd before the FC Lusitans Euro Championship game, will tell you the atmosphere was electric and that the fans 'took' to their new manager in a way they could never have with Sam Allardyce. Billic looks right and sounds right, and away from home his teams perform a bit more than right! Any incoming manager needs the crowd behind him, and Billic has that, he also needed the co-owners to back him in the transfer market, and to all intents and purposes they have done that and more some.

Some may be underwhelmed by the addition of Jelavic from Hull as a striker option, but realistically he has been signed on a two year deal as back up to the much injured Andy Carroll.
