Very worried. We are particularly poor against good passing teams as we couldn't tackle a hot lunch. I thank God, lucky stars and anything else that I dont have a ticket and its not on Sky! Going for 3 nil defeat but fear it could be worse :o(

Some good news for the Hammers is the fact they could have Michail Antonio back for Wednesday’s derby at Arsenal.
Antonio strained a hamstring against Leicester two weeks ago but is back in full training and is likely to return.
Diafra Sakho, who has been out since November with a back problem which required surgery, is also nearing a return.
Andy Carroll, who was made captain against Hull and scored his 50th Premier League goal, said: “It was great to have the armband but at the end of the day it means nothing if you don’t get the results.”
New Zealand star Winston Reid is also in line for a new contract with £20m buyout clause as Prem clubs circle
WEST HAM will offer England star Michail Antonio a new £65,000-a-week deal at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has been a standout performer during a poor first campaign at the London Stadium for the Hammers.
West Ham will offer Michail Antonio a new £65,000-a-week deal
Slaven Bilic is desperate to keep his star men, and will offer Antonio fresh terms along with defender Winston Reid in the summer.
A Hammers source said: “Michail will be offered the new deal after what has been a fine season for him personally.
“The club wants to keep its top players happy and he is certainly one of them, he’s been fantastic.
“There will be a few others who will get new contracts as well. It’s been a tough year but we’ll get there.”

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is desperate to hold onto his best players
Michail Antonio earned himself an England call-up with some fine displays this season
West Ham United's interest in Chelsea outcast Michy Batshuayi is well
documented but could they also snare another Blues star struggling for game
time. Slaven Bilic missed out on permanent deal for Belgian last year but
could now be set to land him in swoop from their West London rivals,
according to the likes of The Sun. Batshuayi is yet to start a single
Premier League game but the Blues are believed to be reluctant to let him
leave on a permanent transfer as they feel he may still develop into a
top-class striker. The Hammers had a £31million bid accepted by Marseille
last summer before Chelsea trumped them with a higher offer. Ironically,
despite a dearth of striking talent in their ranks, scoring goals has been
the least of West Ham's problems this season. Their leaky defence is amongst
the worst in the top flight so could the East Londoners bolster both ends of
the pitch with a double loan swoop on Stamford Bridge this summer. That's
because Batshuayi's teammate Kurt Zouma has admitted to BeIN Sports he may
have to look for a loan move in a bid to force his way back into the France
squad in what is a World Cup year. "A loan move ahead of the World Cup? Why
not," Zouma told BeIN Sports. "We will see at the end of the season, but I
am focused on Chelsea. I am confident and I know that I will play. I have
not had a discussions with Antonio Conte about the future.”
With 33-year-old Jose Fonte failing to impress since his £8 million January
move from Southampton and Winston Reid injury prone, West Ham need quality
reinforcements at the back. While Bilic waits to see if Academy duo Reece
Oxford and Reece Burke have what it takes to step up to the first team,
Zouma would be a good option in the medium term until the young charges are
ready to establish themselves.

Wilshere - Arsenal, Batshuayi, Zouma & Abrahams- Chelsea

West Ham have continued to be linked with a £30million summer move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, though face a battle with Bournemouth for the midfielder following his season long loan on the south coast. £30 Million for an injury prone player approaching the last year of his contract? Someone is having a giraffe, and a conspicuously large one at that! Possibly a £10-12 Million purchase at the most, but even at that price do West Ham really need another midfielder, particularly one with a poor injury record? There are the likes of Martin Samuelson and Edimilson Fernandes available for next season, both young and both fit! It really doesn't make any sense in Hammers pursuing Wiltshere, far more important is surely to get another striker in to supplement Andy Carroll (if he doesn't get flogged off to the 'shiners super league') and Diafra Sakho, neither of which would let an injury insurance broker have an easy night's sleep. Also the need for a 'proper' right back is glaringly obvious, if not to push and instruct Sam Byram maybe just to replace him, although to be fair he is not the reason the defence has been so porous.
Hammers are rumoured to be lining up an astonishing triple deal with Chelsea for strikers Michy Batshuayi who has struggled to get a game for the Premier League leaders, rising star Tammy Abraham who has been banging goals in for fun at Bristol City and defender Kurt Zouma who wants to go out on loan to ensure his international place. Batshuayi has not been given a fair crack of the whip at Chelsea and has been ladened with a hefty price tag, whereas Abraham's is a breath of fresh air and would fit in perfectly at the London Stadiom especially given West Ham's contribution in turning Moses in to a must start player rather than a perpetual loanee for Chelsea. Zouma would be a fine addition as well as Hammers will be looking to firm up their leaky defence with some more athleticism, Reece Oxford could learn from him.
Cordial on going talks between West Ham and Chelsea about a plan 'b' ground share show that there is good will between the two clubs and a three player deal might be possible, but at what extra cost? The spectre of an offer coming in from Chelsea for Michail Antonio is never far of the horizon and would test the mettle of the Hammers hierarchy, we will have details of new deals being offered to several players in our next article. - Ed

Well I am not sure how many of you feel on here about the news that broke today about david moyes being caught off cam apparently saying to Vicki sparks that even though she was a woman she may get a slap and had better watch out before returning to the stadium of light. Her crime? was to ask a question saying did he feel under more pressure because the chairman was in the stands watching the game(aganst burnley). this has taken a while to get into the news why? the bbc MOTD new about it but have not acted and it has only come to light because someone filmed what happened on there phone.
now moyes has come out and apologised and she has accepted and that's probably because if she did not then finding work as a sports reporter may be hard to come by.
Being a woman this has clearly annoyed me and reminds me of the behaviour of keys and gray...mr moyes is meant to be professional but his remarks clearly show a man who to my mind needs to be sacked yes I feel that strongly as men you may not but what would you do if that had been your wife/gf being spoken to in to a woman would seem a menacing way.you may not see it as threatening but to a woman who clearly cannot match a man physically it is very intimidating.i wait now to see if the F.A. do something about this but I am not sure I can hold my breath for that long

To Hull and back!

Well the usual bus load of Scots based Hammers for this trip (personally my first of the season) was reduced to Two Scots and two Scots based Cockneys in a Silver Ford Focus and I was the last pick up point in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire after Scotty (no not the Star Trek one) made an early start to from Glasgow to Kilmarnock firstly to pick up Mark who could not get the train to Scotlands former city of culture as the station was shut! Yes public transport here is dire. Back to Glasgow to pick up fellow Cockney Stephen and then on to me outside McDonalds with my Latte in hand. The trip not hampered by regular stops for the loo due to excessive consumption of alcohol but rain did somewhat blight the journey. We arrived in Hull parked in Prospect car park and made our way to the Admiral of the Humber, on our way we discovered that obviously to become the City of Culture requires a Debenhams, House of Fraser, a tarted up train station, a war memorial and a Chicken George fast (I use the word loosely) food outlet. Met up with Aycliffe and lil Aycliffe in the Admiral and not a bad boozer (well been in worse) and yes Aycliffe and Son looking well folks. Well off to anther boozer where we were snapped with our very own "Full Kit W*anker" in his bright orange goalie strip and jazz hands. Not the usual atmosphere but ok. We got to the KCOM without any hassle and looked forward to the game.... Both teams started nervy and as was discussed before the game we were somewhat concerned about Snoddy and Fegs. Both sides disjointed but we started to get a grip and lo and behold a super cross from Cresswell and Carroll brought down the ball and superbly slotted home. Hull were on their knees at this stage fans and team alike heads dropped and they were for the taking. While we put crosses in the box we had no one to put the chances away! Jermaine Defoe haters beware cos he would have pounced on at least to of them and put the game to bed. Second half and instead of going in for the kill we sat back (a la Big Sam style) invited pressure and lo and behold Hull score via a full back who has never scored for them (ever) Substitutions made but skipper Nobes remained on the bench? Cress came off as did Snoddy and on came Masuaku and Fernandes. Snodgrass was ineffective as he has been and does not like to take players on and despite playing on his preferred left kept passing to Cress. Feghouli did little to impress but did try! though he would not be my first pick. Fonte is not settling as well as hoped Collins did well enough but our defences' positional play and marking is poor. Our two stand outs on the day were Lanzini and Carroll who covered practically every blade of grass. If and that is a big IF I could have changed anything about yesterdays' game whilst it was in progress is from 5 mins after the break I would have put Noble on for Snodgrass and Fernandes for Feghouli, were were missing urgency and purpose and Noble can at least spot a pass! but 5 mins remaining we concede again and our worst fears realised! Calleri was sent on and we all knew we were getting nothing.
So final whistle and back to the car (20 min or so walk) Mark and Stephen into to Chicken George whilst Scotty (still not the Star Trek one) and I waited patiently! On the way home we analysed the game and yep like most came to the same conclusions.... defence needs sorted, Snodgrass and Feghouli are not up to the task and we really did miss Noble, Obiang and an out and out striker! Well around 10pm I got dropped off in Hamilton found my car locked in the car park (which closed at 9pm doh!) ...ahem managed to get it out and slip off home only to be welcomed by the little woman who greeted me with "Oh you're back earlier than expected" followed by "I see you lost"! as if I needed reminding! But I will be at the LS next week for Swansea more in hope than expectation! Despite Saturday's defeat I enjoyed my day, supporting my club .. it's what I do, head up and go again.

Yet another defeat and a very nailbiting (thank god for false ones)end to the season for us and yet I see another story about another player Wilshire this time that we want to buy and would pay £30million for him.Now why are stories like this surfacing? of course I understand about rumours and clubs no doubt planning for next season but come on we seem to have so many stories leaking about players we are chasing it is embarrassing.the time for this is at the end of the season not now when all the concentration should be on keeping us in the premiership.and who believes we would pay that much for any player? last summers saga of smoke and mirrors was bad enough but here we go again it seems.

The morning after!!

Submitted by Hammers65 on Sun, 02/04/2017 - 08:31

Weve had some really poor performances lately, but that one yesterday really hit home....
As usual i feel sorry for our amazing away support, vocal & many in number they are an absolute credit to the club.
So whats gone wrong?? Not long ago we were heading for "boring" mid-table obscurity, but in typical westham style we like to make it hard for ourselves & its the arse up next & we are fighting to stay up!!
Only at westham can we buy 2 players who were outstanding at their previous clubs & they turn out to be benni mac &
nigel quashie in disguise!!
The real possibility of going down is there now, every other club fighting for survival will relish playing us at the moment,so what do we do?? Do we replace slav with a temporary manager??Thoughts...

Rethink the Rio decision

of course it will fall on deaf ears but surely Slaven should be on the phone and admit he needs help to sort out our porous defence...Rio offered to help and got a thanks but no thanks but recent performances if you can call them that have been so bad opposing teams don't have to do much to score against us.So a man who has been one of the best defenders this club/country has produced in the last 50years surely he must be given the chance to help a club he clearly still loves

9points what 9 points

whilst I am not a person to go overboard on a defeat todays comes very close to being the straw that breaks the camels back. our manager was looking for 9 points from the Bournemouth/Leicester/hull games as these were matches we could some say should win but alas all we have are 0 points and are gathering speed towards the relegation zone and with confidence low we trot off to the gooners to restore there confidence.so I ask where is our next point coming from? friends say don't worry you still have Swansea and burnley to play we'll be alright I am glad of there optimism because right now I am low on that.
if and right now its a big if we stay up the people from the top to the bottom of the club need to take a long hard look at themselves and ask what do they really want to do?
