22 years today the passing of a LEGEND Remembering Bobby Moore one of the greatest players ever to pull on a football shirt – not just West ham and England but in the history of the beautiful game God Bless X
Maybe I've turned into a grumpy old man but what have The Hammers got to do to get a bit of praise on Match of the Day. Last night it was all about how poorly Spurs played, heaven forbid it had nothing to do with how well the Hammers contained them and yes BBC they actually scored 2 goals and they hardly got a mention. Am I right or should I just chill out.
After yesterday's gutting last minute equaliser I thought we might need a little something to put a smile on our faces. Enjoy :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILGrNzloMSU
After two back to back away games, I have to say how amazing we are as fans. We took over West Brom last weekend and sang our hearts out (well at least till the 4th goal and sending off). Yesterday we out sang and out supported at WHL, and I can't remember Spurs being quieter. I don't know if it came across on the box, but we just were a constant noise. There must be some poll to decide the best fans in the league? It would have to be a club that is mainly supported locally. I mean Man U or Liverpool taking 5000 to a southern ground is no mean feat as they all live in Guildford anyway. As for the game, we were fantastic and surely the Nolan penny has dropped!? The Cole substitution was bizarre and where I think Allardyce is so stubborn, is that he fills his bench with all the players we would probably get rid of, out of his loyalty to them. Forget the substitution for a minute, before the game he picked Cole, Nolan, Jarvis, Demel, Collins and JOB to potentially change a game. Really? Why no Poyet, , Lletget, Zarate or Lee? Surely some young fresh legs would've been better? If he could honestly release this obsession with trying to prove he's right about certain players, I think we could go far. Allardyce will never accept the fans and neither they with him, but if he keeps putting out a team like that to start, then I think people will bury their feelings and we could get more cracking performances like yesterday.
After yesterday's late, late goal by spuds, I got to thinking they should implement the same system as Rugby Union and Rugby League where the ref whistles and signals time off and then back on.
It's there for all to see and none of this 5 minutes when in fact it's only 4 minutes and 25 seconds. (as an example)
45 minutes on the clock to kick off each half, then it winds down and only stops on the cue of the ref.
As in rugby the siren sounds at the end of the half / game.
Simples really.
What do you think?
the reason we only came away from that sesspit with a point is so clear , our crap bench , just have a butchers at it compared to theirs , at one point we effectively went down to 9 men, Jarvis hardly touched the ball , and the only time Cole touched it was to give away a free kick in a dangerous area , Noble was a huge loss ,i dont know about you but im starting to go with the idea that the cups dont mean a toss anymore , otherwise how can you hold up that performance with the heap of shite last week , we can only go on now and try and get rid of the inconsistency , get rid of Cole Jarvis and Nolan , every time Cole come on the performance goes tits up , the players just dont have any confidence in him , and their not the only ones
can't believe we didn't win that especially when Adrian saved the penalty and that kane knob got the rebound. its hard to take as the team played really well...coyi

The acts of a minority will sully (no pun intended) the acts of the decent majority in all walks and aspects of life, as has been painfully apparent of late, courtesy of the mindless Chelsea supporters in Paris. However before looking down on the actions of those supporters, West Ham fans should be incredibly wary of the fact that the World's sporting press will seize any snippet of negativity they can, and a visit to White Hart Lane provides prime fodder for the red tops.
It should not be necessary to remind people travelling to the match to avoid being sucked into vile banter. That is not to say that they will not be taunted, but they have to rise above the 'base' level and just enjoy a bit of FOOTBALL banter!
Enjoy the match -Ed
As an addendum, the Press have totally launched into this one, a Hammers fan who breaks wind on the tube will be accused of vileness, let alone the plonkers who were stupid enough to make anti-semitic chants on the way to the match! They know who they are, well done! NOT
