And thank you for reducing that smug, arrogant d*ck to tears. Murray apart, I haven't loathed any other tennis player as much as that piece of .....
No footballer is EVER bigger than their club, despite claims to the contrary made by certain players of Portuguese descent!
Players like those mentioned above go on believing in their own myth, even when their star has waned, whereas there are others who KNOW humility and are humble in the face of overwhelming adoration amidst the company of sycophants.
The long drawn out protracted transfer of club captain Declan Rice from West Ham to local rivals Arsenal having been recently completed will have left many fans with empty and possibly envious feelings. Such emotions, whilst being perfectly understandable are just a part of our modern day values.
There ARE those who will say "Declan should have stayed, he was one of our own and we offered him a king's ransom to stay", whereas others might say "He wasn't one of our own, he was one of Chelsea's own!"
Can you imagine how Chelsea fans felt when they saw Rice striding out as West Ham captain, ball cupped just like a certain 'Sir' Bobby Moore?" Loyalty is pure, not tainted by the lure of things that might be gained" once wrote a famous English writer, but those words were written before the Internet, mobile phones or social media during an era when football players received a pittance for their travails.
Modern day footballers playing in Elite Leagues receive what are quite frankly obscenely high wages, a total juxtaposition of those wages earned right up to the onset of the Premier League.
So fans who expected more 'loyalty' from Declan Rice were being rather naive, what they were entitled to expect was a player who gave absolutely everything while wearing the club's colours and that is EXACTLY what Rice did!
Now is the time to move on and say "Thanks for the memories and we look forward to ruining your new club's title aspirations, just as we did last season! Hammers fans CAN however look forward to some exciting and interesting new signings that the Massive money received for Decal Rice will help finance.

Yep I know can you believe it a thread I'm having to do today!!lol
But seriously I dug him out for his ' rant' the morning after the cup win,we all as fans I suppose are guilty of believing everything we see & hear but I'm going to give him a massive doff of the cap!! Sully has played a blinder & as informed Rice wanted to go in February 'BUT' he did refuse the pay offer & still played his heart out....
Billy Bonds,Sir Trev,Devo I think,Frank Lampard snr & of course Nobes all weren't bothered about the dough,THEY WERE ONE OF YOUR OWN
So what style of play do you expect to see from the Moyesaurus next season? Free flowing on the front foot pressing teams and creating chances from open play OR given the rumours that abound this time of year a team that sits deep(sound familiar)and scores from set pieces.
Given the rumours that Moyes really wants Maguire ffs and pressing for Ward Prowse i think we all no its the latter as he gets locked into his obsession of counter attacking footy with a big centrehalf to get onto the deadball situations that Moyes so loves and heavily relies on.
If and its a big If Scamacca stays he will once more be stuck up top on his own with little if any support which is a tragedy IMO and another striker that when he goes will for some reason or another start banging them in and Moyes will have to try and explain that one.
So do not expect to see Bowen/Benni(if he stays!)Barnes if we get him though more likely to get John than Harvey!....but do not expect any exciting free flowing football just the slow predictable stuff we have seen the past couple seasons.
Preseason friendlies mean and show nothing of whats to come except for the last one before the season starts thats when you will see the real tactics the Moyesaurus will employ and sadly we will be up that creek again pretty damn quickly.
"give me the tools and i'll finish the job" a famous Quote from Churchill well we have one tool we need shot of but it is not going to happen unless some stinking rich Quatari Sheik rocks up and we dont want that either what a club West Ham are eh talk about a conundrum.
Funnily enough we at the Org have just been loading up the old Range Rover, complete with silver and black RAF roundels on its sides, in preparation for our Normany landing! We are scheduled to view the Irons on the road tour encompassing the game against fellow UEFA Europa League qualifiers Stade Rennais, or Rennes as they are more commonly known in France, on Saturday the 29th of July.
Ironically the Declan to Arsenal deal, already dubbed D Day, will be confirmed as we are either in mid channel or just before our departure. The conclusion of this long protracted deal will be a blessed relief to many fans who just want to move on.
It is bad enough selling the club's best player for a generation to London rivals, but the time taken has made the whole affair even less palatable. Apparently all the I's have been dotted and the T's crossed on Declan Rice's contract in anticipation of a 'Huge' press announcement before Rice's new club Arsenal fly off for their USA tour.
For some obscure reason West Ham's FFP co-efficient seems to be the reason that the club has paused transfer action due to UEFA's strict rules for clubs taking part in next season's European competitions, perhaps someone might have a word will ALL the clubs in Europe who flagrantly break the rules ALL the time!
Hopefully the floodgates will open and Tim Ze German will be able to 'outflank' some of the other teams in the Premier league who have already laid their towels down in the transfer market, including Nottingham Forest who are still splurging cash like it is going out of fashion!
Left back, right back, central midfielder X2, at least one additional striker, more likely two and an additional centre back are the bare minimum requirements to refresh a squad that is still old, albeit not as old as of recent times.
Without 'proper' recruitment the club will be going backwards. It is to be hoped that EVERYONE involved is reading from the same song sheet, otherwise "there may be trouble ahead".
Despite the success of attaining a European trophy last time out, another turgid domestic season cannot be contemplated if WEst Ham are finally to take the next step up towards the glass ceiling! - Ed
Why did we win the ECL?imo the above! A togetherness at the end of a truly poor season, the reasons for this could be a number of things, the manager, the players, the board.
I remember as a kid playing for a junior side,we were the whipping boys for a good year, but we were all mates had a great laugh in training etc we wernt too bothered about getting thumped 10 nil or whatever we just used to say to each other - " you effing mug sort yourself aht!!"
We won 1 game & the floodgates opened, went on a run of about 15 unbeaten.....
Roll on 30 years later my boy played for a junior side,I'd go every week get to know the parents etc the kids were all mates & the parents all talked about each others families etc...
History repeated itself the boys tried their hardest, had a laugh & gave their best, training was a fun time for us adults watching especially in the rain when the boys would go sliding into puddles,my boy even did the 'worm'...
Anyway cut a long story short my sons team beat their biggest rivals 10 - 1 to lift the league title, one of my proudest moments as a dad...
Camaraderie, the most important thing in my book
I would start with
GK Areola
RB Coufal
CB Augerd
CB Zouma
LB Emerson
RM Bowen
CM Paquetta
CM Ward Prowse
LM Barnes
AM Benrahma
CF Scamacca
Play Benrahma behind Scamacca
Very lazy today, so just screenshots of teams:
Borehamwood: Ashmore, Rush, Stephens, Whelan, Sagaf, Marsh, Abraham, Agbontohoma, Trialist, Trialist, Sousa.
West Ham: Fabianski, Cresswell, Zouma, Fornals, Scamacca, Downes, Ings, Ogbonna, Coventry, Laing, Swyer.
Subs: Anang, Hegyi, Bowen, Emerson, Luizao, Earthy, Casy, Mubama, Chesters, Kodua, Scarles, Forson, Potts.
And yes, Timmy Abraham is Tammy's younger brother!
Gianluca Scamacca has been heavily linked in some quarters with a move away from West Ham this summer after an injury hit first season with the Irons, strong interest in the striker is allegedley coming from Jose Mourinho’s Roma and Champions League semi finalists AC Milan.
However, Scamacca has been included in the squad for tonight's pre-season friendly away to Borehamwood which may raise some eyebrows, although to all intents and purposes including the £35 Million striker isn't unusual at all, UNLESS the club were seriously trying to 'punt' the Italian striker to other clubs!
The truth is that West Ham United have absolutely NO DESIRE to get rid off the incredibly gifted and sought after frontman, despite what some players have inferred.
Put simply the club have been paying Scamacca's wages for an entire year with precious little return for their investment and having overseen the operation required to fix the issue AND spent a vast amount of time rehabilitating the player it would be insane to pull the trigger on his transfer away from the club, unless someone steamed in with an offer in excess of the £35 Million Hammers paid!
It is after all the silly season for transfer speculation, but nowhere has Scamacca actually said that he wants to leave the club, in fact quite the opposite. So ALL the conjecture about a move is simply that, pure conjecture! Usually if a non British player want out from a club he gives an interview in his native language which quickly does the rounds, but Scamacca has made no such 'declaration'.
There's a reason both Roma and AC Milan Want Scamacca, that is because he is a very good player! You can't always believe what you read, some sources more than others are guilty of adding 2+2 and getting 5! - Ed
