Any idea of when the new kits are going to be presented?

Submitted by Gerus on Sat, 06/06/2015 - 10:46

With this being our last season at the Boleyn I am expecting something really good. Classy, traditional, a bit retro - something to really stand out and be remembered as our last kit at the Boleyn. So when will they show this new Umbro beauty? P.S. We all know they are going to f*** it up right?

Bilic Must Be Boleyn Bound Now!

Following the news that West Ham United managerial target, Unai Emery, has signed a two year extension to remain Sevilla manager, Slaven Bilic appears to be the 'last man standing'. Quite how Bilic feels about having to wait as all the other high profile targets have rejected the post before being included in the frame himself is a matter of some conjecture, but suddenly, apparently, there are TWO other 'high' profile contenders on the agenda! But what does "high profile' mean? Do they do class 'A's at a lap dancing joint called the Agenda? Or are they the figment of a PR spin? Smoke and mirrors?
The fact is, that West Ham United's co-owners have done their damnedest to get the very best for the club they love and have invested heavily in, albeit with the potential to make a financial killing, although only one that would be commensurate with the burden they took on. Realistically who else is out there and available without a massive compensation pay out, or the demand for a vast transfer budget?
Knowing Sullivan's business practise, it would be no surprise if the other two anonymous and non-existent 'high profile' managers were required as a bargaining facility to ensure 'Slav' doesn't try to financially enslave the Club as a reward for making him the 'last one to be picked'.
Several years ago, West Ham fans polled virtually unanimously over all the fans sites hoping that Slaven Bilic might become the next manager, well he is going to be, more likely than not. So enjoy the moment, Hammers aimed for the stars and may have well ended up with the moon! (now voyager invert apology) - Ed
Of course Tottingham's Daniel Levy might try to hijack the deal just to be spiteful!

Modric

if as the general consensus seems Bilic is our new manager, what are the thoughts on a move to lure Modric to upton park? i'm tired of hearing of our 'big' signings that never happen….this could be the sort of move that makes a statement. Modric obviously because he has the croatian link, has played premier league before, would suit the 'diamond' perfectly and with benitez arriving at real, he isn't really a benitez type player perhaps? your thoughts?

FIFA dirty laundering

it appears now that the FIFA scandal might just be the biggest in the history of financial wrong doing , every day new revelations are coming to hand and its starting to look as though this organisation might just be a money laundering operation for another , shall we say iffy outfit , namely the mafia, with three of the main banks in the uk holding massive funds in FIFA accounts and it appears that even Ireland has been tarnished by the long tenticals of of this organisation , it seems there was a company established in 2006 or so ( now wound up ) called FIFA Ireland, based at the financial services center in Dublin it had no employees yet transferred over a hundred million to the parent org in Switzerland , and even our own football governing body, the FAI may now be foundering on the rocks with the good ship Blatter , you all remember the famous hand ball incident by Theary Henry , well it now appears that FIFA paid the FAI 5 million in compo and that money might have gone walk about , meanwhile you and i will continue to pay our 50 or 60£ in money and all we ask is a good game ,

Tip of the iceberg ? i think so

It's Bilic

I've had a very reliable message.
So it's our old Croat defender.
Good luck Slaven, we're all behind you.

We are the 19th richest club in the world!

According to the recently published Forbes list:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forbes'_list_of_the_most_valuable_football_clubs

I guess that means we should be employing the 19th best manager in the world -- whomever that is! :-) Note that Olympic Marseilles and Sevilla aren't even on the list. And that Napoli are just above us, but they have a stadium that is falling apart.

Makes for interesting reading, especially the debt as a percentage of value, I'm not sure if those figures are accurate...

After moving into the OS I image our income should rise a fair bit, hopefully going past a certain North London club in a few years!

I think you might need it working for those owners!

Neil McDonald has been announced as the new manager at newly relegated Blackpool FC. I wish him all the very best and hope he and that club can start a bright future together.

Good luck Neil!

If we got this 'ambitious manager' Along with 4 high quality signings Where on the scale would you sit?
That we could have a good year in our final Boleyn campaign?
Or do you believe Europe will ultimately end in the biggest ground in the championship (to give you two ends of the rictascale)
