Magassa Claws Back Pivital Point For Hammers
Four results in five games, it’s a glass half full or half empty situation as the draw against Manchester United means we’ve achieved half our points in the last 5 matches, potentially showing the turn in form that Nuno’s managed to pull out of thin air, but other teams around us are forcing us to continuously climb what feels like an infinite mountain.
Nuno made one of his bigger statement with the lineups by dropping three big names in Igor Piggle, the Kraut as well as Guil-slot machine-herme. The depth within the squad is dire and miracles are needed to squeeze juice out of this side, the Amorim at Manchester United looked to his bench and substituted on £110,000,000 worth of players with two changes, whilst we made our two changes in Andy Irving and Mohamadou Kante for a staggering £2,000,000 total fee, a telling yet damning fact.
Same old singalong trajectory as the game kicked off, control for 25 minutes and spent the other 20 inviting pressure and fending them off. Second half, attempted to get back involved but our death defying taps placed on Manchester United backs saw them clatter to the floor which prevented any momentum to be built up, but through fortunes of a limping Jarrod and the hero of the hour in Soungoutou Magassa, a well deserved point was earned for the Hammers in what many labelled as a write off.
Before tonight the Hammers hadn’t drawn with Manchester United in the last 14 times the pair faced each other, but the fighting spirit as well as the fortunate substitutes not costing the Hammers, it’s a point earned and one loss in five matches.
Max Kilman’s only touch since coming on the pitch was a loose ball to Bruno who blazed it over, and perhaps Kermit’s mind might’ve been slightly boggled after being told “you look like a rat” for 90 minutes at Old Trafford by the traveling Hammers fans.
Mohamadou Kante also had an impressive short cameo coming on for his debut but the star of the show was the MOTM award winner in Songatou Magassa. It’s evident as to why Nuno was eager to sign the tricky Frenchman at Forest, but despite joining West Ham in the summer, Nuno’s still managed to end up using him and after some learning time he might just now be getting up to speed to what we all hoped he could possibly be. - LN

For me not really and maybe not for the majority of the older generation i mean i remember looking at the table on World of sport(my Dad used to do the ITV7 back then)and West Ham were always in the bottom 5 they showed so is today really any different?....The Premier League is the be all and end all for the younger fans and many seem overly troubled by the thought of us being Relegated.
So is it really that big of a deal if we did go down? for Sullivan and co it would be as no tourists will be buying tickets for a Championship game so then they would be stuck with West Ham fans only!......But honestly would you miss some of the mercenary players that have no love for the shirt they are just interested in the ££££££££££'s.Hammers Set To Offer Paqueta Support After Red Card
Paqueta’s red card over the weekend has received copious amounts of media attention and criticism. Considering the way he received his red card, it doesn’t come as a surprise.
The incident had evidently built up across the game and at one point, his emotions boiled over at Daren England. His number of cataclysmic decisions that were persistently given really were getting the fans frustrated and clearly Paqman felt that too.
Seconds before the Red Card, Paqueta was having a heated word with the referee, which saw him be dragged to almost the other side of the pitch by numerous players, but his adrenaline of spite would be his Achilles heel, and as he rushed for the red, he was sent off, putting the game to bed.
After time has passed, West Ham have decided that they’ll be offering psychological support for the Brazilian, but several senior figures are said to not be happy with his actions… shock!
His actions cannot be credited nor backed as whilst it’s undisputed that all humans will inevitably have moments of intense rage or anger, his decision to act upon that feeling is where criticisms arise. Ultimately, Paqueta bit off more than he could chew, and to suffer such a comical suspension ahead of a pivotal game is an inexcusable action to most.
Physiologically? Scarred. Lateral thinking? Non-existent. The scandal situation would take a toll on any human being, but those emotions have to be kept off the pitch rather than on it. The underlying anger the Brazilian has towards officials is what needs to be controlled, discussed and solved for the future. - LN
Lacklustre Hammers Face Telling Defeat Against Liverpool
Doom and gloom all around the London Stadium as the day started with the appalling news of Billy Bonds’ passing away, in which a minute of applause and a dedication was played out for a gemstone and Icon of this Football club.
The Hammers honed in to halftime with the score being 0-0, a few chances had gone either way but half of the Liverpool squad decided to have swimming lessons this afternoon with half the players enjoying their time on the floor, in which the referee blatantly fell for the fishes, which triggered the tone for the remaining 45.
It could’ve gone either way, but the extortionately priced Haskabanovic scored in guaranteed fashion, and the lacklustre options we have to bring us back into the game were nothing but dire.
The impact of substitutions? Luiz Guilherme and Nichlas Fullkrug. The Brazilian playing in a similar fashion to a slot machine with two numbered correct! He made darting runs and weaved through defenders but his end product was appalling, he couldn’t pick out the final pass or a shooting opportunity.
Going one down was a blow, but a shot in the foot was felt with Paqman being sent off, initially receiving a yellow card for throwing his hands up, which is incredibly odd to see, followed by receiving a second yellow for complaining at the referee which is more understandable.
His rival Brazilian in Allison, even spoke to the ref, suggesting it was unfair! This was obviously counteracted by the ever-winging Hungarian Sob-story who relentlessly complained all day for Liverpool.
In hindsight, the red card ultimately didn’t cost us the result and it was more the lacklustre game-altering options we have, along with the combination of not being able to utilise the open space whilst Liverpool placed three players on Bowen.
Gakpo’s inevitable goal against West Ham came in the 92nd minute, which did put the final nail in the coffin, but the game had already been done and dusted as the final seconds counted down.
No gap between the Hammers and the drop zone, with Manchester United next and the doom-filled six fixtures that December has in store for Nuno.
Tough and saddening day at the office.

Coufal Slams Potter’s Man Management
Super Vlad recently did an interview and predominantly spoke about the Hammers, now his exit unfolded, ongoing issues at the club and also slammed the training facilities…can you blame him?
Vlad’s brutal exit was found out through a meeting that lasted less than a minute with Graham Potter.
“Potter told me the club wouldn’t be extending my contract. I asked him why and he said it was a club decision. Our conversation lasted about 30 seconds. Five years at the club for 30 seconds.”
Unfortunately for Vlad, loyalty doesn’t go very far at this Football club, and we’ve seen this happen numerous times across decades and it appears as if nothing has changed. And as much as fans rightly criticise the owners, in this instance, Coufal alludes it back to Potter, “It was the wrong manager at the wrong time. I didn’t fit into his plans and I was forced to leave.”
Seeing as the same happened to Emerson, Antonio and Fabianski, you just have to wonder why Potter was kept around so m for so long and if it was this chaotic off the pitch, it doesn’t come as a surprise to see why the team was so lost on it!
All for one and all for yourself is how pompous Potter comes across as.

Vladimir Coufal also felt an overwhelming amount of emotion upon his Hammers exit, speaking about crying for two days with his wife and kids and he believed that he felt “it was his fault.”
“I thought I was going to retire at West Ham. If they’d extended my contract by two years, or even given me a one-year deal with an option of a further year. I would’ve happily accepted it.”
It was never the money for Coufal, it was never sitting there and picking up the bill. He was on the cheapest wage out of anyone who didn’t renew that window, and was just someone who adored the club. We lost a good n’.
Vladimir Coufal is now being seen as one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga this season with Hoffenheim, so it just goes to show he did have something left in the tank, didn’t he?
