Repeated Frustration And Elation
Good weather, good lineup, good second half but not a full bucket of points to go home with.
The now usual lineup time of 13:45 announced the dropping of Mavropanos and Evan Ferguson, two players who deservedly had to be dropped after the performance against Wolves but ultimately one way or another it appears we’re bound to make a mistake somewhere.
Alphonse Are’oh’la had an absolute blunder, the ball made it to the byline, played in and initially saved but the ball slipped out of his hands and was the easiest goal Evanilson will have in his career.
The Kraut came on swiftly after the second half started and Fuller was the game-changer. Chances started flying through with the introduction of him and Soler, a quick corner from JWP saw the Kraut equalise and Bowen not too long later matched Kudus’ cross. But as said before, even with the weather shining for West Ham there’s always a cloud.
Evanilson slotted an easy second for the Cherries, no one marking him at the back post and as simple as that it’s 2-2. Both goals of his were checked for offside but VAR deemed them onside.
The midfield is our biggest problem and you can see why, what Jules and Steidten came up with has Graham looking to his bench
and his best option for change is Guido Rodriguez! It’s embarrassing.
The second half was the best half we’ve had in a long while, not as good as GP claims he aspires for but it’s better than a 1-0 loss and a ‘lie-down’ performance which is what we’ve been seeing.
7 games to go and the fight for 13th goes on!
