that is my thoughts about alex song in midfield and with obiang now getting some games and proving himself a better choice in the midfield I.M.O surely the board will not sign him on any kind of permanent deal....he simply has not done enough and the wages rumoured to be on can be put to better use....discovering the likes of lanzini shows that you do not have to go over the top on fees and wages to get a very very good player....sadly song is not any of these anymore...he switches off to many times for my liking and gets caught with the ball instead of making the pass....if his wages were halved and he was happy to be a squad player maybe then make deal but for £80grand+ he is supposedly on well he is not worth it.
Watching MOTD last night and Shearer of all people put the question to Woy about Mark Noble possibly being selected for England and all the gibbering idiot could do was wriggle and blubber on about how the English midfield is strong enough and Dan Gosling and that if players like Mark continue their form it's creates healthy competition. Well To pick one example of his bias I bet Rooney gets picked and plays irrespective of his atrocious form and lack of goals ( for a striker) , and Vardy who is on fire will be fortunate to get picked and then have a Cinderella roll on the bench. Woy is part of footballing establishment run by and influenced by Manure, Poo and Chelski. Blinkered and bias English international football will never flourish whilst the powers that control it are puppets of the so called premiere league elite.
Is getting better and better this season... he should start every game, its clear from the last 3 or 4 games how much we rely on him to distribute the ball and play it out from deep. Not only his commanding presence in the team but his determination rallies our team and gets them to perform. Would pick him ahead of Kouyate, Song and Obiang every time.
As I'm sure some of you know looking at text updates or comments on here it's frustrating not knowing. Fortunately it was on five live radio but that just makes me more nervous. Then they go two up, game over surely? So in a right hump I sloped off to have a bath ( happy birthday to me) a long bath. But as habits die hard I kept the radio on in the other room in hope more than anything. The minute I got in the bath I realised it wasn't loud enough to hear clearly! All I could make out is the names Norwich and West Ham from time to time. The rest was a muffled mess of cheers and noise. I sauntered out of the bathroom knowing something had happened only to find an extra point has been rescued! If I put it together with the fact the other half distracted me on Tuesday at the winning goal, it me who should be given the five year contract! Needless to say I'm not available between three and five o'clock on saturdays. Unless of course I don't get my five year contract! Do you think gold and Sullivan will understand?

Just heard on 5 live that Jack Collison has retired. Great shame, and I wish him the very best of luck in whatever he does from here on.
It seems a media career beckons.

I appreciate Lawro is a twat however sour grapes springs to mind over the recent Liverpool game.
His summary and prediction of the Norwich game:
West Ham are another team that had 120 minutes of FA Cup football in midweek, with their extra-time win over Liverpool on Tuesday.
The Hammers are not playing that well anyway, but fatigue from that tie is part of the reason I am backing Norwich here, despite the Canaries' dismal form that has seen them lose five league games in a row and drop into the bottom three.
The last time Norwich had a positive result was when they won back-to-back home games against Southampton and Aston Villa at the turn of the year.
Alex Neil's team have conceded eight goals in their past two home games and they desperately need their results at Carrow Road to improve because their away form is not going to keep them up.
Lawro's prediction: 2-0
