Moyes has not learned his lesson

Dear David

I would like to say that your decision to play Zouma last night was wrong on so many levels that i am now wondering about your ability to manage the club i support.

What happened had nothing to do with football but everything to do with morals and values your action last night to select him was like another kick in that poor cats direction and one in the proverbials for most if not all fans of our club and would probably have Zouma thinking ahh this will blow over i'm still the man.

A few years ago whilst managing Sunderland you made the comment about a female reporter deserving a "slap" even though your a woman. At the time you thought nothing was wrong in saying that but were forced into an apology as you clearly did not understand the gravity of your words and the impact they would have.

So onto your decision to play Zouma last night it does not matter how well he played or that we won what matters is the light this club was shown in and it shows what a horrible mentality there is when a football match has to take precedence over common human decency towards others and other creatures we share this world with shame on you David and shame on the club for letting you make that decision and further shame on the club for thinking this can remain an internal matter it cannot and will not be allowed.

I attended the game last night but once i was aware that Zouma had been picked to play i walked out and i am now considering not going anymore whilst that man remains at the club.

'Cat'astrophic Zouma PA(w) Own Goal

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Tue, 08/02/2022 - 08:53

What should have been a triumphant return from a potentially serious knock, has turned into a complete fiasco for Hammers defender Kurt Zouma due to the 'Kittygate' images circling on social media! Only West Ham can do it, it seems as if as soon as some players walk through the door they leave their brains behind.

We don't want to go into the details which have already been covered explicitly by the red tops, neither are we so hypocritical that we want to either pass judgment or defend the French International's actions. Obviously it is completely unacceptable to 'kick the cat, slap it or throw shoes at it, it is a 'sin' in the UK that gets far more publicity than a brutal assault on another human being would.

It can be argued that a cat is a defenceless little thing and that Zouma's actions were reprehensible, the player has already apologised sufficiently for the Police and the RSPCA to be satisfied that the Cat in question is in no further danger and that the 'attack' was a one off event that the player deeply regrets.

At the risk of 'Catmail' and without condoning Zouma's actions in any way, it has to be said that 'someone' at the Org chased a 'little kitty' round the room with 'intent to harm' after the the blighter jumped up a fully laden Christmas tree causing it to fall directly on to an expensive new monitor and cracking it's screen.

Utterly unforgivable, but also very understandable, Cat lovers can be content though safe in the knowledge that Zouma will receive punishment a plenty apart from the Club and the Animal League, in the form of opposition supporters. It would be a great surprise if some 'Watford wag' hasn't already come up with a nasty little ditty about Zouma and the Cat, expect to hear some 'choice' banter tonight at the Ground or on BT Sport. - LN

Big Player Doubt Ahead of Watford

As ever David Moyes played his cards extremely close to his chest in his pre match presser ahead of the visit of Watford on Tuesday evening, it is often what Moyes doesn't say that is as important as what he does say. So when referencing Michail Antonio's availability, with the player having travelled a truly ludicrous amount of miles and played three ultimately pointless games for Jamaica, the Irons manager merely stated that Mich was fit and available, but with the caveat that the club were unsure as to whether it was wise to play him so soon after his return.

This evening's opponents Watford have no such reservations with their AFCON players only arriving yesterday and THIS MORNING! Newly appointed Hornets boss Roy Hodgson has already stated that his AFCON contingent will play "if they are in the country, no matter what."

It is just as well Antonio wasn't available for the Kiddy game, because you can guarantee that if HE had turned his ankle, it would have leaned toward a lengthy spell on the sidelines. - Ed

Diop Needs Therapy!

We at The Org campaigned long and hard to let Issa Diop be given a chance to prove himself alongside Kurt Zouma, in the firm belief that the once monstrously talented player would rediscover his form under Zouma's tutorage, well he got his chance on Saturday against Kidderminster and put in his WORST performance EVER for the club.

Something is not right here, you would have thought Diop would have grabbed the opportunity to prove himself, instead he looked like a rabbit in the headlights and even made the normal owner of that title, Ryan Fredericks, look calm and relaxed!

Incidentally Fredericks was dreadful, but it doesn't detract from the fact that Diop's woeful ineptitude runs much deeper than a few bad performances, everything that was once good about his game has gone and been replaced with a player who has become a bag of nerves who is so petrified he CANNOT make decisions anymore, he has become a liability.

So what is to be done? The transfer window has closed so he can't be sold to Newcastle, neither can he be loaned out, so the club are stuck with him. Perhaps it is time, if it hasn't already been done, for Diop to see a top sports psychologist, it can't do ANY harm and it might just unlock the player that is hiding within.

Diop's impressive 6'4" frame doesn't mean he is tough on the inside, shouldn't he be given all the possible help available? If only to bump up his value before flogging him!

High Noon For Zouma News

Fans won't have to wait too long to either be put out of their misery, or breathe a huge sigh of relief regarding Kurt Zouma's availability for tomorrow evening's game against Watford and Sunday's game against Leicester and possibly beyond. The Hammers defensive king pin will undergoing a 'reveal' scan today, with the results and analysis available as early as midday today (Monday 07.02.2022).

Zouma fell victim to the 'unpredictable' surface up at the Aggborough Stadium during Hammers nail biting victory over plucky Kidderminster, he could be clearly seen to have turned his ankle as his foot got caught on the surface and was in some considerable pain but hobbled on for the remaining minutes of extra time because David Moyes had used up ALL the subs in an effort to get the win.

Moyes' initial prognosis of Zouma's injury has come under scrutiny, as it has now been claimed that it is Zouma's 'suspect' knee that has been injured, whereas Moyes had initially suggested it was Zouma's ankle that had been affected. The scan results will quickly show the full extent of the injury, IF it is a turned ankle there is every likelihood 'Zou' could take his place against Watford because the healing technology sing hot and cold variables can 'recover' muscles in 24 Hrs that would normally take up to ONE month to recover from.

On the other hand, IF Zouma HAS injured his troublesome knee, then he can be expected to be out of the fray for at least SIX weeks according to out sports injury advisor. That would all but kiss goodbye to Hammers already tenuous European qualification aspirations, BOTH in the Champions League AND the Europa League.

We have always fought Issa Diop's corner on this site, but even we have reached the point where we CANNOT support his inclusion in the starting line up, he looks to have lost ALL his confidence and looked like a rabbit in the headlights against Kidderminster before being unceremoniously replaced for the 2nd half.

Therefore IF Zouma's injury IS. as bad as we fear, what does Moyes do? He can either move Declan Rice in to the back line or promote one of the youth or U-23's, with Jamal Baptiste being favourite, Baptiste has also been endorsed as a centre back by none other than the Og himself!

Fans won't have long to wait to find out Zouma's fate, all in all it has NOT been a 'good health' few days for West Ham supporters, many are still waiting for their fit-bits to return to normal after nearly being 'KIDDERMONSTERED'! -ED

Saints It Is Then!

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Sun, 06/02/2022 - 11:58

Hammers reward for embarrassingly scraping through to the next round of the FA Cup is a 5th round tie away to Southampton at St Mary's, with all the round' games being played during the week commencing February the 28th, although fixtures are subject to change as a result of broadcasting needs.

As it stands the Saints v Irons fixture is the ONLY game where both teams are from the Premier League, although that is sure to change after today's Liverpool v Cardiff game. The draw could have been worse, as Hammers have managed to avoid Chelsea, City, Everton and Tottingham as well as Liverpool.

Having reached the 1/4 finals of the League Cup, David Moyes will be hoping his team can go at least one stage further in the FA Cup. - LN

Numbers To Look Out For In FA Cup Draw

nevillenixon's picture
Submitted by nevillenixon on Sun, 06/02/2022 - 10:32

The draw for the 5th round of the FA Cup, or last sixteen if you want to ramp up the numerics, takes place today at around 11:45 am on ITV, just ahead of the Liverpool v Cardiff tie. Hammers are number 9 in the ball selection, the other main numbers to look out for are: Chelsea number 7, Everton number 8, Tottingham number 11, Liverpool number 12 and Man City number 15.

You can all but guarantee Hammers will get one of those numbers, but for the record the other teams numbers are: 1 Palace, 2 Bournemouth or Borehamwood, 3 Huddersfield, 4 Peterborough, 5 Luton, 6 Southampton, 10 Middlesbrough, 13 Stoke, 14 Forest or Leicester and finally number 16 Norwich.

Hammers were incredibly fortunate NOT to have joined high profile Premier League casualties Arsenal AND Manchester United on football's naughty step, can you imagine the ignominy of NOT being in today's cup draw as a result of having been participants in the FA Cup's greatest EVER upset?

There are some who would say Hammers don't deserve to be in the draw and that plucky little Kiddermister should be there instead, especially those who did the BBC gubfest commentary, particularly ex- Manchester United, Coventry City and Aston Villa forward Dion Dublin, who probably would have got the program banned if the cameras had been on him during the game, such was his almost 'orgasmic' delight in watching Hammers being put to the sword.

In fact Dublin's commentary was SO annoying, that many fans have told us they resorted to watching the game with the volume muted just so they couldn't hear his sycophantic accolades! Kiddy DID do amazingly well, that is beyond contestation and they were rightly praised by both the Hammers players and David Moyes after the game. Hopefully those fans watching in silence will have turned the volume up in the last minutes of normal time and the last minute of extra time just so they could hear the Biased Beeb Clints choke on their own words!

7-8-11-12-15 are the draw numbers to look out for to match with Hammers number 9, a number with added connotations since the transfer window that never was! - Ed
