Hold Your Horses Mouths Arnie

The media love a good transfer story to fill gaps left by the International void, England's last gasp win has ensured the country's presence at the Nations Cup finals next year thus ensuring the oiling of press expense accounts much to the relief of 'deprived' journo's! But as they say never let the truth get in the way of a good story, so the Arnoutovic to moving to either Man Utd, Man city or Chelsea are par to the course, Arnie is dammned if he talks and dammned if he doesn't. Speculation regarding the Hammers talisman is especially rife towards the beginning and end of the transfer windows and it seems this January's will be no exception!

Of course there is definitely a bit of 'Anelka' syndrome associated with Marko Arnoutovic due to the fact that his brother is his agent, and it is his brother who has been spouting off at anyone who will listen. It should be noted that the 'source' of the most recent 'Arnie departure' story was from a regional radio station, the interview with Arnie's brother was conducted in Austrian which may explain a few of the anomolies contained within the story. Depending on the interpretation he is either very happy or he isn't, the inference used by the Press has obviously been a negative one leading the reader to assume it can only be a matter of time before Arnoutovic is on his way out of the London Stadium.

However, after coming on as a substitute for Austria at Windsor Park and setting up the winning goal, he told Sky Sports that he is not paying attention to speculation about his future. "I don't want to talk about it. I am concentrated on West Ham. "We have a big game against Manchester City on Saturday and I am only thinking about this game and the following games and what is being said is not my business. My business is to perform on the pitch, to put in performances and that is what I want to do."

While not exactly being a concrete affirmation of his intent to stay, his comments don't seem to be those of a player who has already made his mind up to leave, perhaps he is going to see how things progress in the next few weeks ahead of the window, with the exception of the Manchester City game there are several fixtures to play that could see Hammers moving up the table to a place where competing for a Europa Cup berth could become a reality. Agents being agents will always try to get better 'terms' for their client, they would be remiss in their duties if they didn't.

Whether they are liked or not agents have enormous power nowadays, which can be rather good if they are working in the interest of your club, unfortunatley in this instance the agent obviously isn't. Speculation will die down when some other highly paid player demands to double his salary to stay, it is the way of the world, or as Harry Redknapp used to say " Sic transit gloria 'Mondeo'". - Ed

Arnautovic obviously isn't interested

so the mercenary in him reveals itself. asked after the Austria game about a move and he said he didnt want to talk about it. what was more revealing was that he said its for his 'agent' to decide and deal with. so i think its safe to say then that he simply intends to go wherever his 'agent' says and follow the money. sad really from a man who was lost at Stoke, was taken a chance on by us with a large transfer fee at the time and was transformed into a prem league superpower by david moyes. this after his early ridiculous behaviour on the pitch too under bilic. oh well, another tevez i guess, the arms crossed when he scores, declaring his 'love' for the club but out of the camera's telling his agent 'show me the money'.

Are we all to well informed?

Picture the scene all walking in off the coach everybody is getting changed and getting ready for the match, and there you are Declan on your 3 grand looking at Sammi Nasri, Hang on he says this is your 1st game and wot did you say you're on £80,000, I've played over 40 games your aving a laugh. Andy Carrol says how long you been out Sammi? 8months he says, Oh don't worry about that I hav'nt played for 5mths and they were only friendlies And I'm on 95 grand you'll fit in Great at this club man, my mate Evra thought WHU were 1 of the best touches he's ever had since he's been in professional football played 5 games £65,000 a week and 2 of them was off the bench. Arnie can stand no more off this BoL8ocks, and walks into the corridor and sees his agent Arguing With David Sullivan "wot do mean you aren't paying him £200,000 a week he's playing every game, only missed the Chelsea game, and you've got Chicarito on £140,000 and he's only a bit player so he walks back into the dressing room and sees Rice with his hands round Diop's throat wot do you mean you're on £30,000 I'm 20 and your 21 I'm on £3000 and you're on 10 times my money. They come in at the end of the match losing because of the bad atmosphere throughout the team. Chico waves to Nasri, Happy New Year, Bol8oks he says your earning twice as much as me Ya Greedy Mexican Twat
All these wages ought to be kept confidential, all this because the leaked wages information is messing up the game, its all money and greed with agents trying to outdo the next player and make the most money for themselves, and the player, it is Their job some might say, but it is causing bad feeling and while my little fantasy might seem funny (well to some people) it will all be coming true before much longer. Arnies a great player but £200, 000, get real! All the trouble started when it was disclosed how much Chicarito was being paid and the rest is history, now we know how much Nasri is on, Carrol, Snodgrass, Antonio everyone- and you can go on Sportskeeda and find out how much every player in the premiership is on. This did not happen publicly 8 years ago but it is completely messing up our beautiful game and players wages should not be disclosed, the transfer fee yes, but the wages no- it seems to be another way of boosting agents commision up. And that s why nobody plays for the shirt, there is no loyalty they are all mercenaries. To Much Information.

Arnautovic Leaving???

I know you can't believe everything you read in the papers but according to The Independent Arnis Brother and agent has said that a player like Arni who is 29, and at his peak should not be fighting relegation battles, and should be going for medals and championships, and the alarming part of this is that Arnautovic has said that he has full confidence in his agent, So it looks to me as though he's been tapped up by a bigger club. I can't see WHU letting him go until the end of the season but it will be a shame to lose a player of his calibre, leave at any time, and if its in the next window when we are looking to pick up points from really winnable games it could spell really big trouble for us as it would really knock our confidence as we don't have anything like a decent striker to replace him Lets hope this is just a wind up and I am jumping the gun COYI

Hammers Ghost Squad Recruiting Keeper

The final piece of the Jigsaw is being sought by West Ham United as they attempt to construct the finest 'ghost squad' in the Barclays Premier League, European qualification is already guaranteed this early in the season and it is all but agreed that the club should push for the World Ghost Squad finals such is the belief in the 'team', the only vacant berth is in the goalkeeping area!

Hammers impressive line up includes Ryan Fredericks, Sam Byram, Winston Reid, Carlos Sanchez, Jack Wilshere, Nathan Holland, Andrily Yarmolenko, Manuel Lanzini, Xande Silva and Andy Carroll, all that is missing is a keeper with a long term injury and the club will be set to compete. Really there are very few clubs who can compete with West Ham for ghost squads and of course some of the 'big' clubs are already sniffing around to see if they can pick up an outrageously over priced over paid injury prone casualty, but the Hammers hierarchy are having none of that.

An 'insider' was quoted as saying "the club has spent years and years building up such a magnificent bunch of failures, failure doesn't come cheap you know", they continued by saying "It is our intention to hold on to our injured players and that is that, the players are going nowhere!" The 'insideher' went on to say " furthermore it is our intention to recruit al least one more injury prone player, Sami Nasri, during the January window, and possibly one or two more, after all there is a lot to be said for having strength in depth for our ghost squad, we are very proud of what we have achieved and will continue in the same direction for the forseeable future".

And who said Hammers can't do things properly? - Ed

Golden Handshake

Well this one got my goat the second I saw it. Some Chelsea fat cat has asked each prem club for $250 grand so they can give Peter Scudamore a $5mill golden handshake when he steps down from the $2.5mill role as CEO of the Prem League, a role he's held for 19yrs.
Are you fucking serious???? How about those clubs give back $250grand to the fans, the lifeblood of the clubs and let this fat cat cnut slink off into the sunset with his ego to spend the money already pilfered.
This just beggars belief, but not quite as much as the clubs agreeing to it!!! Once again they prove how out of touch they are with their fan bases.
(excuse the $ sign, only English keyboards have pounds)

Samir Nasri

Not all that keen on Nasri, I think he is another over the hill player and I just hope he doesn't cause too much trouble. I can imagine him and Arnaughtovic getting at it, both with big egos, he was an ok player on his day for Gunners and Citeh and always played well against us but i think he could end up like Ezra -one last payday complete waste of money and not a good replacement for Yarmalenko although Pellegrini must Know his pedigree, but I'd sooner we searched around, and he ain't worth the aggro. Its reported that the deal has hit a snag allready so perhaps he has failed his medical. I hope so.
