If we are serious about going for a top 6 spot and of course I believe we are then these two matches must be a minimum of 4 points gained from them....tonight will be tough Bournemouth play some good stuff and with a striker now to get on the end of what they create it will be tricky indeed but with some of our main players back I think we can win this 1-2....as for the georgdies we all no if they get a sniff early on then they can be hard to beat on there on patch so hopefully we can nick something early on get the crowd on there back and if not a win then at least a draw I think it will be 1-1......so hopefully the lads are rested and up for it because they are both very awkward fixtures.....if bfs in charge no doubt the fact we are on the south coast on Tuesday and north east on sat well jet lag will set in and players needs rest jeeez thank god he is gone! so unless we offload some players no transfer activity for us and you have to admire the depth to our squad for keeping us going when most of our major hitters are out injured.....BUT a few questions need asking I feel about certain players the obvious being that jenks loan deal that cannot be terminated must never be made permanent which is a given...actually feel sorry for the lad as on the one hand he signed a nice 5 year deal with the gooners before being loaned back but must of realised almost immediately that he will not be back here next season and the thought of bench warming if he gets that close for the gooners has him wondering where the hell he will be next season and I think this has had a lot to do with his level of performance this time round.....Song is another and I hope he does not get a permanent contract...not impressed by him(my opinion)and the wages he wants well there is better out there a lot younger and cheaper shelvey for one would do very nicely that's if he does not get taken in this window and we can get him in summer....Zarate get rid of him if we get cash that's a bonus.....moses of course another expensive loan blows hot and cold but with the end of the season it is clear slav wants his mate from besiktas gokhan toure(forgive the spelling)so he will be gone...samuelsen will be loaned out again he needs the games and experience and he is proving a great pick up citehs loss is our gain.....as for Valencia the guy needs to toughen up a bit he has all the attributes of a great player but seems to have a personality that if he gets tackled hard he stays on his arse moaning looking around for help from the ref when nothing comes he goes into his shell.....slav tell him to grow a set and get on with it......well that's my opinion you all have yours lets hear them

F.A Cup.

Submitted by Hammers65 on Mon, 11/01/2016 - 11:15

Well what a weekend of f.a cup action, oxford beating swansea, eastleigh almost beating bolton & exeter v the scouse-ditto!We are through to tonights draw (& a big up to jelavic for coming good with a corker of a goal)!
People are saying that the cup is not the same because of the prem & they have a point.Me i still harp back to the days when the fa cup was special,& for the lower league sides imo it still is...
Slav is quoted as saying he wants to lift a cup rather than get in the top 4,good for you slav i say,a trip to wembley for us all after the closure of upton park will be fitting...
So who do you want in the next round??a biggish club or a minnow?? Arsenal or the spuds?? thoughts please...

I am trying to trace an old friend, Richard Coleman. We met at Loughborough
University in1972. Went to the 1975 Final but lost touch some years ago. Richie
would be about 62 now. he lived in Beckton and East Ham. Had two brothers. Married to Sue, two sons - Billy ( after Bonzo) and Michael (I think). Does anyone have contact details for him ? If so please post a reply. Many thanks, Jeff Brooks

I just want to post a big thank you to the guys that run / organise the Tenerife Hammers in the Theatre Bar near Playa de las Americas. I was there last week for the Liverpool game and was just great to be on holiday watching the game will fellow Hammers. The turnout was fantastic. Many thanks to the guys over there for flying the claret and blue flag, great to be with John and Lorraine from Bournemouth and Federico from Milan, all totally mad on the Irons! Thanks to all those overseas supporters that create a little corner of a foreign distant soil that will be forever West Ham... you are doing a great job!
