What gives him the right to go against club medical advice to have surgery on his hamstring? His idea that he will heal "naturally" has not worked and he has now. after four months, undergone the surgery that should have been done in the first place with no chance of a pre season training and will not be back for availability until September. Hang on! Are we still paying his £30K a week wages while he sits in his hospital bed with a smug grin which is 100% a bad decision on his part?

So you have to keep one and release two who do you choose? Soucek/JWP/Alvarez next up Paqueta/Irving/Kudus followed by Kilman/Todibo/Mavrapanos then the cruncher Bowen/Fullkrug/Guilherme finally Fabianski/Areola/Foderingham

Hobsons choice or easy choice for you? i guess most of you will be
keeping Foderingham/Todibo/Alvarez/Pacman/Bowen. Am i right?

Operation Buy To Sell Identified

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Tue, 29/04/2025 - 14:44

With this gruelling season nearly at a close, West Ham fans have come to a common agreement that a major rebuild is needed, even though we had one last season.

Fortunately, not only is this much-needed rebuild recognised by us, but also by Graham Potter.

Graham has alluded to the fact that the only “untouchable” players for this upcoming window will be Wan-Bissaka, Jarrod and Summerville. Everyone else is up for grabs with a supposed ‘sell to buy’ window on the horizon. It’s becoming a constant repeat that we buy a player and end up selling them next season, Longevity is something we’ve been unable to sustain persistently.

With the classic lame yearly reports that we have no money being announced, I guess we have to start pondering what actually happened in January? I suppose that dithering Dave from above must’ve had a ghost move his finger when we bid £65,000,000 for Jhon Duran!

But seeing as we now have ‘no money’ after we’ve made Jean-Clair’s transfer permanent, prepare to sign no one… is what some will expect you to believe.

We’ve now got a manager who had Brighton, had the highest transfer fee of a staggering £24,000,000! Who was coincidentally sold on for £115,000,000.

If we were to sell Mo for what the Saudi’s are prepared to offer, we’d easily be able to sign 4-5 players.

It’s time to stop the worry and start to prepare for our future, oh, and it would be nice to aim for some longevity, not to sign someone and sell them a season later for half the price.

Glenn Roeder vibes

Anybody else getting this feeling about Potter? nice guy but clearly not up for the role as our manager and unable to handle the pressure.
Roeder lasted two years and his health suffered because of it and judging from yesterdays post match press conference i feel it is going this way for Potter and with an owner like ours who really was not wanting him he must be wondering when not if the vote of confidence from above comes.

AWB & Bowen That's it the only two players in our current squad worth keeping and Bowens having a crap season but lets be honest the job that needs doing this summer is monumental so if you consider you have to add nine players just to get a team to take to the pitch next season how the hell will we have enough money for that and the bench as well?

Now i know some of you will mention Summerville and yes he does look good but having not been really part of the first team picture for various reasons i am excluding him from the exodus.

Kilman £40million really he is not worth tuppence and should go back to Maidenhead utd as he is not up to scratch by any stretch of the imagination and to prove it i would keep Mav ahead of him!.

But from back to front you have to ask who would buy any of our players Kudus being the only one of any real value but that will not bring in enough for the rebuild by no means and as for Paqueta he is showing just what a mercenary he is and despite his ability he is another who just does not care about our club and just used us to get himself noticed.

So if Potts Earthy Orford are added to next seasons squad along with Scarles well that may save the club some money but you need better and experienced professionals that will help bring them on and not heap untold pressure on young shoulders and again that costs money but also they have to be the right player with a proper attitude and not just a "name" "marquis" signing nonsense or an injury prone journeyman that we all know we love at our club as they are a bargain buy and for the life of me i hope Paulino does not walk through the door as he is very keen to come to us apparently mmm wonder why that is eh? ahhh yes dumb wages and a medical wing that will fulfil his every need for a broken down crock that he is.

So a massive summer ahead and when you look at the clowns we have to deal with it and total lack of imagination you do just have to worry about what will our club look like this time next year.

Hollow Hammers Bruised Further With Late Goal

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Sat, 26/04/2025 - 17:57

Potters’ return to the Amex was to cause a media gub fest, similar to what happened when we played Chelsea earlier in the season.

With Brighton’s star striker, Joao Pedro out, the Hammers hoped that a result could be possible, which would also conclude a miserable season with four games to go but safety secured.

An early goal from Brighton led to more heads in hands, and to be honest, when do we not have them like that! We haven’t had much success to cheer about. Only a glimmer of hope would come in the second half through Bowen’s magic, providing a superb delivery to Kudus for the Ghanaian to finally break his goal drought, a celebration full of enthusiasm amidst his Saudi links.

Bowen yet again provided an even better assist in the 83rd minute to the leaping salmon, thumping the ball into the back of the net, giving us the lead in front of the sun-full eyes of the travelling fans.

The squad was putting up an excellent performance when trying to get into the lead, but once in the hot seat, defence is the only mentality we resort to which ultimately costs us.

The happy hammers then felt dread in the 89th minute through Kilman losing his man alongside Mavropanos marking the air, which meant that Mitoma managed to slot it in for the equaliser. But from bad to worse, happy to hollow within NINE minutes as Baleba’s wonder strike saw Graham Potter’s side lose 3-2.

Safety is secured through Ipswich’s 3-0 loss to Newcastle, but despite Premier League football secured next year, all that’s left in the air is sourness.

And just so you don’t have to bare it from other media sources, prepare to hear that tomorrow marks TWO MONTHS that we haven’t won.

Spurs at the Bowl next, let’s see how the ‘dumb and dumber’ matchweek gets on.

It's About To All Boyle Over

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Fri, 25/04/2025 - 13:41

West Ham fans were delighted with the news that Betway wouldn't sponsor the club after the 24/25 season, as the club had finally called it quits. Rumours started to form about who would replace the sponsor, and at one point it appeared to be Footlocker or Post Office due to the ownership of Daniel Křetínský.

However, after some time, the club are closing down on ANOTHER betting sponsor from Ireland called "BoyleSports".

The Irish company have agreed to pay the club a record-breaking deal of £12,500,000 per year. It is commonly known that they would have to remove themselves from the front of the kit for the 26/27 season because of the Premier League betting rulings, but they would then be expected to be a sleeve sponsor instead.

Despite the deal being labelled as 'record-breaking', we're currently paid £10,000,000 per year from Betway, so we've decided to just gain an extra £2,500,000 and make the fanbase a lot more frustrated and unhappy, not very smart with the current state of everything going on!

It doesn't even look good too! Perhaps if the design looked alright, it wouldn't have been as frowned upon and could've gotten some sympathy points from the fans.

Even with the betting ban imminent, that still can't stop the final opportunity for a cash grab.

Tommy Against The Circus

Submitted by Louis Nixon on Wed, 23/04/2025 - 16:54

In preparation for the club’s ‘mass-axing’ in the summer window, Hammers fans can expect over 15 players on the chopping block, with some of those being long-serving members for the club.

One of which is Tomas Soucek, the Czech has been very eager for the club to offer him a new contract, yet the people above feel otherwise and they aren’t confident to extend further on his current deal, and a departure in the summer from the Irons is looking more and more likely.

David Moyes has been sniffing after him ever since his return to the Premier League, and you get the feeling that the Czech chapter is coming to a close with Coufal also set to leave with no extension in sight.

Despite the Scotsman wanting Tommy, it won’t be all that easy. A large fee is to be expected but not as much as initially anticipated as Potter is willing to let him go as he doesn’t see him as a concrete player for his future plans.

Is it the right decision to let Tommy go? If his departure were to happen, it would leave a massive hole in the leadership aspect for the squad, something of which the Hammers have severely lacked in. A lot of fans have always been 50/50 with Soucek, but you definitely can’t fault the commitment he gives to this club and the leadership he provides on the pitch and in the dressing room.

With the players that do and don’t need to go, Soucek can’t be that high on the axe list. There are plenty of other players who should depart before the Czech and he should certainly be kept considering our current circumstances, but with the club stalling contract talks, can you blame him if his head went elsewhere?
